Arrests:

12:32am     1500 Blk Sunnydale Ave      Resisting
Officers Seavey and Padilla were on foot patrol when they spotted three males standing in a group.  When they spotted the officers, the group dispersed, and each walked off in different directions.  One of the suspects walked into the street and stood there.  A vehicle approached and had to slow down and drive around the suspect because he refused to move out of the lane of traffic.  The officers attempted to stop the suspect, who they recognized from prior police contact.  The suspect refused the officers orders to stop and began running in a full sprint away from them.  The officers gave chase and saw the suspect throw an object down into the grass.  As the officers ran by, they recognized the object to be a cell phone. The suspect suddenly stopped running and the officers ordered him to get on to the ground.  The suspect refused.  The officers again ordered the suspect to get down on the ground, and the suspect sat down.  The suspect was placed in handcuffs.

The officers recovered the cell phone that the suspect threw during the foot pursuit.  Several people began gathering in the area, and the officers deemed it unsafe for the suspect and the officers.  The officers transported the suspect back to the station pending further investigation.  At Ingleside station, the suspect was cleared of any outstanding warrants and cited for the traffic violation and delaying peace officer duties.  Report Number 120177117

Officers Apodaca and Gabriel were dispatched to a report of a fight.  Upon arrival, the victim was in front of the residence screaming that someone had stabbed him and that the suspect was inside the residence.  The officers made entrance and located the suspect.  The suspect was detained pending further investigation.

The victim told the officers that he had overheard the suspect in a verbal argument.  The victim grabbed his cell phone and began to dial 911.  The suspect appeared and yelled at the victim not to call the police and to stay out of her business.  The suspect picked up a knife and stabbed the victim in his arm.  The suspect put the knife down on a table, and the victim retrieved it.  The victim put the knife in his pocket and went outside to wait for police.
