Arrests:

6:38pm       4700 Blk Mission          Narcotics
Officers Archilla and Pereira were on patrol when they observed a male drinking what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage.  The male was accompanied by another male who had an open container of alcohol hidden inside his jacket pocket.  As Officer Archilla conducted a record check, Officer Pereira located a baggie on the floor next to the first male containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine.  The male was placed under arrest and transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.  The other male was cited and released at the scene.

At Ingleside station, an arrest search located additional baggies containing the same powdery substance located at the initial scene on the male suspect.  The officers conducted a presumptive test of the white powder which returned positive for cocaine.  The suspect was booked at Ingleside station for the narcotics.  The officers transported the narcotics to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice. Report Number 120172907

8:17pm       600 Blk Edinburgh      Warrant
Officers Tam, Hom and several other Ingleside officers responded to the call of a known suspect attempting to break into a home.  The reportee provided dispatch with the name of the suspect and a record check revealed he was on active parole.  The officers arrived on scene and detained the individual.  In the area where the suspect was detained, Officer Preston located a black bag containing a sword and the suspect’s identification.  A record check of the suspect returned with an active no bail warrant.  He was placed under arrest and transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.

The officers met with the reportee who stated that the suspect resides in the downstairs unit and that he did not attempt to break in.  The reportee said the suspect was locked out and asked him if he could enter the area through his apartment.  The reportee said no and simply wanted the police to remove him from the area.  He requested no further police action.

At Ingleside station, the warrant was confirmed and the suspect was booked for the warrant and possession of the sword.  The officers provided the suspect with a property receipt for his property.  Officer Preston took pictures of the sword and booked them into evidence.  Report Number 120173193

9:24pm       Unit Blk Badger           Agg. Assault
Officers Hom and Cassinelli were dispatched to a person with a gun. They arrived on scene and located two males sitting in front of the premises.  One of the males provided the officers with his name and other male pointed at him and told the officers that he had pulled out a gun on him and pointed it in his face.  The male believed that the suspect intended to cause him great bodily harm and felt threatened.  Both men said they reside in the home and were arguing over the rent.  The officers asked the suspect if they could search the area of the home which he occupies.  He told the officers that they could conduct a search because he had nothing to hide.  The officers located mail in the suspect’s room addressed to him on his bed.  Underneath the bed, they located a black handgun which they seized.  The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Ingleside station.  The officers booked the handgun and provided the suspect with a property receipt.  At the instruction of Sgt.
