10:57pm     800 Blk Moscow           Narcotics
Officers McCall and Lozano were on patrol conducting a passing call at Crocker Amazon Playground when they observed a parked vehicle in an area where there are no parking signs in the evening hours.  They made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and, in plain view, noticed a bag containing a large amount of a green leafy substance which they believed to be marijuana.  The officers had both occupants exit the vehicle and placed them in handcuffs in the rear of their patrol vehicle.

The suspects were given their Miranda rights and agreed to speak with the officers.  They told the officers that the marijuana was theirs and they had purchased it for medical purposes.  Neither suspect was able to provide the officers with a Medical Marijuana Card.  At the instruction of Sgt.
