8:00am       Unit Blk South Hill       Theft
Officer Sugitan responded to a theft call.  He spoke with the victim who advised him that she had workers assisting her in her home and after they left she noticed several items were missing.  She did not see anyone take the items and wanted the incident document should anything occur in the future.  Report Number 120140421

10:35am     Unit Blk Pope               Dog Bite
Officer Araujo and several other Ingleside officers were sent to investigate a dog bite.  The victim and dog owner were both on scene and when the officers arrived the medics were tending to the victim.  The dog owner stated that she was unaware that her dog had gotten loose.  She provided the officers with copies of the dog’s rabies and veterinary record.  The victim was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  Animal Care and Control responded and took custody of the dog.  All parties were provided with follow up information.  Officers took pictures of the scene and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report Number 120139800

3:00pm       300 Blk Alemany                    Burglary
Officers Lim and Chew were dispatched to investigate a burglary. When they arrived, the victim told the officers that she locked and secured her apartment and when she returned found an unknown male inside of the apartment holding some items that belonged to her.  The suspect attempted to flee the apartment but the victim grabbed him and attempted to take him to the building manager’s office.  The suspect got loose and pushed the victim against the wall causing her to suffer a hematoma on her head.  The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.  The victim said that she had seen the suspect lurking in the area previously and could recognize him if she saw him again.  She said that nothing else appeared to be missing from the apartment.  The officers summoned an ambulance to the scene to medically assess the victim.  She was provided with follow up information.

The officers’ investigation determined an open window in the bathroom to be point of entry as they could locate no other sign of forced entry to the premises.  SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit was notified and the officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail.  Report number 120140493

4:05pm       1200 Blk Visitacion      Vandalism
Officer Sullivan responded to a vandalism call.  They met with the victim and a witness who both advised that they were walking home when a group of males followed one of them inside of his security gate.  The witness began to yell at the suspects and as the victim turned around one of them kicked the security gate which hit the victim in the right forearm area.  The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  The witness called the police and stood by for them to arrive.  He assisted the victim who appeared startled.  The victim refused medical assistance and pointed out the damage done to the security gate.  The officers took pictures of the scene and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report Number 120140669
4:05pm       1200 Blk Visitacion      Vandalism
Officer Campos responded to a call of threats.  The victim advised that she and several other roommates were having issues with one particular tenant who was constantly displaying aggressive behavior toward them.  The victim said that several confrontations have arisen in which the suspect has said many things she regarded as a threat and it was coming to the point where she was afraid to even reside in the apartment.  The victim wrote a statement for the officer which he booked into evidence at Ingleside station and provided her with follow up information.  Report Number 120140813

7:17pm       2200 Blk Alemany        Theft
Officers Chang and Pak were dispatched to a theft.  The driver of a vehicle had been involved in an accident with a pedestrian and she exited the vehicle to check on the well being of the pedestrian.  When she returned to her vehicle she noticed items were missing.  She did not see anyone take the items and wanted the incident documented should anything further occur.  Report Number 120141162
