Arrests:

10:54am     Still/Lamartine              Dog Attack/Bit
Officer Frisk was sent to investigate a dog attack incident. The victim told the officer that on another occasion the same dog was off leash and attacked her dog pinning it to the ground. The victim was walking her dogs when she saw the suspect dog and owner. The dog was off the leash again and before the victim could react, the suspect dog charged towards her and her two dogs. The victim’s dog suffered injuries to the ear and hip. The owner of the suspect dog told the victim that he was not paying for doctors’ fees! The officer arrested, and then cited the owner of the dog for not complying with the leash law. Photos of the injuries were taken and booked at Ingleside station. Report number 111015580

3:25pm       500 blk Laidley             Court Order Violation
Reserve Officer Martinez and Morgante responded to a court order violation case. The victim told the officers   that he observed a subject that had a court order against him at the location. The victim called the police. The officers responded to talk to the subject in violation and because of the signed citizen’s arrest; the subject was arrested and then booked at Ingleside Station for violating the order. 4:00pm       Alemany/Santa Rosa    Drug/Weapons
Sgt Lozada observed transaction between two subjects and believed it to be a drug transaction. The officer called for a back up with officer Antonian and Dudley responded. The officers detained one of the suspects and discovered that he had marijuana. Because the suspect was on probation the officers responded to his residence and located a replica gun. Because all the violation are misdemeanors, the suspect was cited to appear in court and explain to the judge why he was in possession of these items while on probation. 4:05am       400 blk Monterey         Burglary
Officers Gabriel and ma responded to a burglary in progress. The officers arrived and found an open front door. After they searched they determined that the business was empty and any possible suspects were gone. The responsible for the store was notified and responded. The victim told the officers that the cash box was missing along with $500 to $1500 in cash.  The victim told the officers that there were also cigarettes missing. The officers gathered evidence and notified CSI. CSI will respond and process the scene. Report number 111018142

5:30am       100 blk Richland          Vandalism to Auto
Officer Leong was sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officer that he parked his car and took note that the car was not damaged. When he returned he discovered that an unknown suspect had broken all the windows and the tires had been slashed. There is a surveillance camera that may have captured images of the suspect. The footage will be retrieved later. Report number 111020454

12:00 pm    3200 blk Mission          Theft/Building
Civilian Police Services Aide Sondra was sent to investigate a theft incident. The victim told the CPSA that while at the bank changing cash he inadvertently left $900 on the counter, then changed to another counter but left the cash on the counter. When he went back for it, the cash was gone. Since they have cameras at the bank the evidence was ordered for retrieval. Report number 1110190457

3:30pm       Velasco/Sawyer             Robbery/Gun
Officers Fung and Suguitan were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that she was walking along when she noticed a suspect approach wearing a mask. The suspect grabbed the purse and a tug-o-war ensued. The suspect dared the victim to resist and pulled out a small black gun. The victim feared that she would get shot and let go of the purse. There were no injuries. The suspect fled the scene with the purse and its content. Report number 111019770

6:30pm       5500 blk Mission          Vandalism
Officer Ocreto responded to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officer that he owns the body shop there and that when he came to work today, he noticed that there were several vehicles that had been tagged with a marker. The owner told the officer that there was over $1000 of damage to all the vehicles. There were no cameras at the location. Report number 111018380
         
5:00pm       Unit blk Nordhoff        Theft from Auto
Police Services Aid Zabarte prepared a report regarding a theft from a lock auto. The victim told the PSA that she could not remember if she had locked the car or not. The victim told the PSA that she had several credit card as well as newly purchased gift cards that she did not remove from the car. There were no suspects observed in this incident. Officer Morgante and Martinez were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that when he came home he noticed that a door was damaged. The door leads to a stairwell that is a common area to the building. There was no loss. Report number 111018578
