8:37am       Unit Blk Arleta                       Warrant
Officer Ocreto was on patrol when he observed a vehicle fail to stop for an arterial stop sign.  He affected a traffic stop and identified the driver by his California Driver’s License.  A record check revealed the driver had an outstanding traffic warrant.  He was transported to Ingleside station for further investigation.  After confirmation of the warrant, the suspect was booked into custody at the instruction of Sgt. Castillo.  Report Number 110979848  **BEST ARREST OF THE DAY**

1:00am       3300 Blk Mission                    Assault
Officers Park and Abucay responded to the hospital to interview a victim who had arrived for treatment.  They spoke with the victim who told them that he was exiting a MUNI bus and two males that were on the bus began claiming that he disrespected them as he was attempting to exit the bus.  The victim said the males exited the bus and began arguing with him.  The suspects then charged at him and the victim felt a sharp pain near the back of his neck.  The victim then noticed he was bleeding and believed he had been stabbed.  The victim called a friend to pick him up.  The friend arrived at the scene, picked him up and the suspects fled the area.  The victim was driven to the hospital where he called the police.  He said that he does not know the suspects but that he could identify them if he saw them again. 

The victim told the officers where the incident had taken place and Sgt. Lozada and several Ingleside officers responded to the scene.  They located blood drips and contained the scene.  They began a crime scene log and took pictures of the area which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  A description of the suspects was provided and the officers canvassed the area in search of them to no avail. 

At the hospital, the officers took pictures of the victim and provided him with follow up information.  They confiscated his clothing and provided him with a property receipt.  They booked the pictures and clothing into evidence at Ingleside station.   They contacted MUNI dispatch and ordered a copy of the video surveillance tape.  Report Number 110979365

3:45pm       500 Blk Cortland                    Theft
CPSAs Navarro and Der  were dispatched to the call of a theft.  They met with the victim told them that she was working in the store when a male and female entered the store, sampled some items and walked around the premises.  The female bought some items and left the store with the male.  The victim later said that she noticed several items were missing.  She did not see the suspects take the items but said they were the only ones inside the store.  The victim exited the store and searched the area for the suspects unsuccessfully.  She told the officers that she would be able to recognize the suspects if she saw them again.  She was provided with follow up information.  The CPSAs searched the area for the suspects to no avail.  Report Number 110981138

4:00pm       Unit Blk Phelan                      Theft
SFCCPD Officer McGlaston was sent to investigate a theft.  He met with the victim who told him that he was in one of the buildings and decided to take a nap.  He placed his computer on his right side and when he woke up found the computer was missing.  He did not see anyone take the item and was unable to provide the officer with any further information.  He was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 110981116

4:30pm       100 Blk Brookdale                 Theft
Officers Hopkins and Duffin were on patrol when they were flagged down by a victim who told them that he locked and secured his vehicle and when he attempting to start it that afternoon heard a loud and unusual noise coming from underneath.  He exited the vehicle and noticed various parts were missing from the vehicle.  The victim was unable to provide the officers with any further information and said there were no witnesses.  The officers took pictures of the vehicle and provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 110980419

10:30pm     200 Blk Gambier                    Theft
Officer Paras was dispatched to the call of a theft from vehicle.  He met with the victim who stated the he parked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found several items missing.  He was unable to provide any further information and said there was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle.  Officer Paras took pictures of the vehicle and did not process it because of the apparent lack of  physical evidence.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 110979503

3:45pm       500 Blk Cortland                    Theft
A victim responded to Ingleside Station and told CPSA Der that she parked and secured her vehicle and when she returned found various items missing.  She was later informed that her credit cards had been used and was told by her bank to file this police report.  The victim was unable to provide any further information and was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 110980362
