Arrests:
1:22pm 5200 Blk Diamond Heights Theft
Officer Bernard responded to a report of theft. The store’s security had already detained the suspect. The witness told the officer that he saw the suspect place several items into a reusable shopping bag. The suspect realized that he was being watched and tried to lose the witness within the store. The suspect exited the store with the items, making no attempt to pay for them. The witness detained the suspect and called the police. The suspect was arrested for shoplifting. Report 111039013

7:47am 300 Blk Monterey Blvd Fraud
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding fraud. An unknown suspect had purchased two high priced items using the victim’s Paypal account. The victim did not authorize the purchases. Report 111038184
10:00am 400 Blk Miramar Ave Burglary
Sgt. Miller responded to a report of a burglary. The victims told the officer that a suspect had broken into their car that was parked in the driveway. The garage door opener was in the vehicle, and the suspect used this to gain entry into the garage door. Several items were taken from inside the garage and from the vehicles parked in the garage and driveway. One of the vehicles was also damaged. Report 111038861
1:00pm 600 Blk Portola Drive Burglary
Officer Frisk was dispatched to a report of a burglary. The doors of the premise were damaged. A wire box was also damaged. Report 111038673
3:00pm Silver Ave & Lisbon Assault
Officer Goldsborough responded to a report of an assault. The victim exited a MUNI bus and began to walk. The suspect exited the bus after her, and hit her in the back of the head with a wooden dowel. The victim fell to the ground, disoriented. The suspect attempted to take the victim’s purse and cell phone. A passerby witnessed the incident and yelled at the suspect. The suspect fled. The victim lost consciousness for several minutes. 7:00pm 1800 Blk Ocean Ave Vandalism
PSA Flynn took a report regarding vandalism. The victim parked and secured his vehicle, leaving it unattended. The victim returned to his vehicle and began to drive home. The tire pressure light on the dashboard came on, indicating something was wrong with the vehicle. The victim pulled into a gas station and put air in his tires. The victim continued home. When he arrived, two of the vehicle’s tires were completely flat. The victim realized that the tires had been slashed. Report 111039988
9:37pm Sickles Ave & Mission St Theft
Officer Lundy responded to a report of theft. The victim and the suspect were hanging out together. The suspect asked to borrow the victim’s phone to make a phone call. The suspect used the phone and refused to give it back to the victim. The suspect then left without giving the cell phone back to the victim. Report 111040515

Officer Lundy was dispatched to a report of fraud. The victim had received an email regarding charges made to a credit card account. The victim had not authorized the charges. Report 111040587
