Arrests:

10:51am               Unit Blk Norton             Assault                
Officers Johnson and Bernard, along with several other Ingleside units, responded to investigate a stabbing that had occurred earlier in the day. Officers Araujo and Pai had detained a possible suspect inside of a premise and the victim was being transported to the area in an attempt to make a positive identification of the suspect that had stabbed him. The victim was transported to Mission and Norton and positively identified the detained individual as the suspect who had stabbed him. A crime scene was secured in the area where the stabbing had occurred, and the officers took photos of the scene and booked the evidence at Ingleside Station. Sgt Bailey of Ingleside’s Special Investigation Team took a DNA sample from the suspect which was booked at Ingleside Station. Sgt Bailey then took over the Investigation. Report number 110920120

12:41pm               800 Blk Ellsworth         Stolen Property
Officers Hart, Hopkins and Duffin were on patrol, when they noticed a vehicle driving in reverse. Officer Hart recognized the driver from previous incidents. A record check showed that the suspect’s license was currently suspended and she was currently on court probation. The officers conducted a traffic stop, and instructed the suspect and her party to remain inside their vehicle. Without permission, the suspect exited her car and began to walk towards the officers. The officers informed the suspect that her car was going to be towed and issued her a citation. The suspect refused to sign the citation and yelled at the officers. Without permission, the suspect then started walking back towards her vehicle. The officers tried to explain what the citation was for and the suspect ignored them and continued to walk away. The officers then placed the victim under arrest for delaying an investigation. Officers Sullivan and Padilla responded to assist and transported the suspect to Ingleside Station.

Other occupants inside of the suspect’s vehicle left the scene and the officers began a search of the vehicle. Upon their search, the officers found department store bags lined with aluminum foil. Also inside the bags were numerous clothing items with security sensors still attached. The officers photographed and seized the items located in the vehicle. All evidence was booked at Ingleside Station and the department stores were notified of the missing merchandise. Report number 110924207

3:00pm                 Unit Blk Patton             Warrant
Officers Johnson and Toomey were informed that a suspect with multiple warrants was in the area visiting a relative. The officers arrived at the house, made contact with the suspect, advised him of the warrant and placed the suspect under arrest. The suspect was booked at Ingleside Station with the approval of Sgt Riskin. Report number 110924699

7:37pm                 800 blk Rutland             Narcotics
Officers Hurwitz and several other Ingleside units were on patrol when they were advised that a parolee was possibly residing at a residence. They conducted surveillance of the premise and observed several individuals entering and exiting the home. One of the individuals that exited the home boarded a vehicle which had objects hanging from its rear view mirror, disrupting the drivers view from the front windshield. The officers affected a traffic stop and made contact with the individuals inside the vehicle. One of the individuals seemed nervous and informed the officers he was on active probation. A computer check confirmed that the suspect was on active probation with a search and seizure condition. A search of the vehicle located several clear plastic bags which contained a white crystal substance, believed to be Methamphetamine. The items were located in a case belonging to the suspect who was on active probation. The suspect was transported in Ingleside Station pending further investigation.

An additional record check of another individual in the vehicle revealed an active warrant.  He was placed under arrest and transported to Ingleside Station pending confirmation of the warrant. The driver of the vehicle was cited for the traffic violation and released at the scene.

At Ingleside Station, Officer Hurwitz preformed a presumptive test for the white powder which tested positive for Methamphetamine. The officers took pictures of the drugs and other items located in the vehicle which they book into evidence at Ingleside Station. They issued the arrestees a property receipt and booked them both at Ingleside Station for the narcotics and outstanding warrant. Report number 110922477

Other incidents:  

8:00am                 4600 Blk Mission           Theft
Officer Hom was sent to investigate a theft case. Upon the officer’s arrival he met with the suspect and her daughter. The victim stated that she had taken her vehicle to have repairs made on it.  When she picked up the vehicle a few days later, she noticed the back seat seemed kind of messy. The victim said she didn’t think too much of it and drove off. The victim said that evening she secured her car inside her garage. When she returned to her vehicle the next day, the victim noticed DVD equipment had been stripped from her vehicle. The victim believes that the auto shop stripped her vehicle and insisted on a report. The officer searched the vehicle and could not locate any sign of forced entry. 

The officer spoke with the auto shop who stated they made the repairs to the vehicle and left it parked and secured in the parking lot until the victim drove away. The auto shop stated there was nothing missing from the vehicle when the victim drove away. The officer advised the victim to contact her insurance company.  Report number 110925095

9:00am                 Unit Blk Phelan            Vandalism
SFCCPD Officer Bermudez responded to investigate vandalism to a vehicle. He met with the victim who stated she locked and secured her vehicle and when she returned she found several scratches on the driver’s side door. She was unable to provide any further info on a suspect and was given follow up information.  Report number 110919004

10:10am               Unit Blk Seville              Threat
Officers Kneuker and Habib were dispatched to a threat call. They spoke with the victim who stated he was in a dispute with his landlord because he was being evicted. The victim stated he was leaving his home this morning, when the landlord approached him and said, “If you take me to court, I am going to get someone to jump you and beat you up.” The victim stated he believed the threats to be credible and wanted the incident to be documented. An emergency productive order was provided and the victim was given a copy of the order and follow up information.  Report number 110925318

10:10am               Mission/Silver               Theft
Officers Bernard and Johnson were on patrol when they were approached by a victim who had just been robbed. The victim stated he was seated on a MUNI bus holding his cell phone when an unknown suspect approached him from behind, grabbed the phone from his hand and ran off the bus. The victim was not injured, did not get a good look at the suspect and could not identify him if he saw him again.  He was provided with follow up information.  The officers contacted MUNI dispatch and ordered a copy of the surveillance video. 1:30pm                 Unit Blk Chenery          Burglary
Officer Ma was dispatched to investigate a burglary. The victim stated that he left and secured his residence and when he returned he noticed there were several items missing. He stated that one of the sliding doors was unlocked and believed that’s how the suspect exited and entered the home. The officer was unable to find any sign of forced entry, but did notice some fingerprints at the scene. He notified SFPDs Crime Scene Investigation Unit who stated they would arrive to process the scene. The victim was provided with follow up information and advised not to touch certain areas as the crime scene unit would be arriving.  Report number 110925744

3:40pm                 3900 Blk Mission           Robbery
Officers Sullivan and Padilla responded to a call of robbery. The officers met with the victim who stated he was waiting for the MUNI bus, when two unknown suspects approached him and held a knife to his abdomen. The suspects told the victim to stand still when the other forcibly stripped a necklace from the victim’s neck.  The suspects then ran down the street. The victim informed the officers that he would be able to identify the suspects if he saw them again. The officers searched the area for the suspects to no avail. The victim was not injured and refused any medical treatment.  Report number 110924837

5:00pm                 Unit Blk Schwerin          Vandalism
Officer Ocreto responded to a call of vandalism. He met with reportee who stated that while walking around the premises he had noticed several damaged windows which had been intact the day before. The officer took photos of the windows which was booked at Ingleside Station and provided the reportee with follow up information. There was no video surveillance in the area and the reportee was unable to provide any further information on a suspect.  Report number 110923657
