Arrests:

4:53pm                400 Blk Cortland                  Warrant
Officers Campos and Nibungco responded to a complaint of a man acting strangely in a store. They met with reportee who stated that a male had entered and exited the store approximately five times and was wandering up and down the aisles. She did not want any further police action, but wanted the male to be advised. When the police arrived, the man had already left the store. They searched the area with the description provided, and located the suspect a few blocks away. The suspect advised the officers he was on parole and he was just checking the stores out because he had been gone a long time. A computer check revealed the suspect was on parole and had an outstanding no bail warrant. He was taken into custody and transported to Ingleside Station. The warrant was confirmed, and at the direction of Sgt Riskin, the suspect was booked.  Report number 110922201

2:30am                400 Blk Day                           Theft
CPSAs Lee, Callaghan and Navarro were dispatched to investigate a theft. They met with victim who advised that she had hosted a party at her home, and later found various items missing. The victim stated that another individual at the party told her he had the missing items. The victim made several calls to the individual who refused to cooperate and return the items. The victim stated she did not see anyone steal the items, but wanted the incident documented.  Report number 110920750

9:30am                4900 Blk Mission                    Vandalism
Officer O’Donnell was on patrol near Treasure Island when he was dispatched to take a report regarding vandalism to a vehicle. The victim advised she had parked her vehicle in the parking lot at her work, and secured it. When she returned to her vehicle she saw a male standing next to it, and noticed the side mirror missing. When the suspect saw her he ran away towards Mission Street. The victim said she has seen the victim in the area before but wasn’t sure if she could identify him if she saw him again.  She was provided with follow up information.  Report number 110916561

10:00am              900 Blk Delano                       Fraud
A victim responded to Southern Police Station and told PSA Casil that she received a collection latter from Comcast requesting that she pay an outstanding balance. The victim advised Comcast that she never opened an account with them, and she was advised to file a police report. She was unable to provide any further information regarding the suspect. The Victim was provided with follow up information along with information for identity theft victims.  Report number 110905097

10:15am              Unit Blk Phelan                      Robbery
A victim responded to Ingleside Station to report a robbery. He told PSA Zabarte that he was walking on Phelan Ave when a male approached him from the rear, put his arm around his neck and pointed a knife to his neck. The suspect demanded that the victim hand over his Iphone. The victim handed it over because he was afraid for his safety. The suspect then ran toward Judson St. The victim provided a description of the suspect, and said he did not get a good look at him and would not be able to identify him. The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance. PSA Zabarte provided him with follow up information. Report number 110921366

A victim responded to Southern Police Station and told PSA Casil that she received a collection letter from Sprint requesting that she pay an outstanding balance. The victim advised Sprint that she never opened an account with them, and she was advised to file a police report. She was unable to provide any further information regarding the suspect. The victim filed the report because she realized the outstanding balance had been placed on her credit report, and she wanted the incident documented should anything further occur. The Victim was provided with follow up information along with information for identity theft victims. Report number 110899713
