Arrests:

2:08pm       3000 blk San Jose         Theft
Officers Thompson and Altamirano were pulling into a convenience store parking lot and saw the employees from that store running out and yelling at a suspect trying to drive away from the scene. The officers approached the vehicle and told the suspect to step out of his vehicle. When the suspect got out of his car, the officers took custody of him. The victims informed the officers that the suspect came into the store, grabbed a beverage and walked back out the door. One of the victims stated he yelled out to the suspect, but he just walked out the door. The suspect was taken into custody, and the receipt of the beverage was taken as evidence and booked at Ingleside Station. Report number 110885706

4:06pm       3300 blk Mission          Theft
Officers Chew and Lim were dispatched to investigate theft case. Upon the officers arrival they met with Loss Prevention Officer Condito. LP Officer stated he witnessed the suspect grab a beverage, hide it in his jacket and continue over to the deli section. The suspect then proceeded to purchase the sandwich, but did not pay for the drink and walked out the door. The officers booked the suspect at Ingleside Station. Report number 110886146

Officer Miller was sent to investigate a case of fraud. The victim stated at sometime last year he misplaced his wallet, and ever since he has been receiving fraudulent statements from creditors. The victim informed the officer that he never opened any accounts and these accounts must be fraudulent. Report number 110884902

7:00am       100 blk Leland             Theft
Officers Ng and Tillan were sent to investigate a theft case. The victim stepped away from his room for a moment and upon returning he noticed his sunglasses and ring were missing. The officers took a look at a surveillance video and did not see anyone enter the room. Report number 110885900

7:30am       3700 blk Mission          Burglary
Officers Turner and Sanchez responded to a burglary case. The officers met with a witness who had seen three unknown suspects rob a store. The witness stated she saw one of the suspects walk out with a cash register, another one walk out with a box and the third was the getaway driver. The victim showed up to the scene and informed the officers that he secured the business the night before. When the victim took a look around he informed the officers that the suspects also took a cake. The officers took photos of the scene and booked the evidence at Ingleside Station.

9:00am       1000 blk Brussels         Burglary
Civilian Police Service Aide Reynolds and Der were dispatched to a burglary incident. The victim told the CPSA that he had stepped away from his residence for a few days and upon returning realized his TV, DVD and bicycle had been stolen. The CPSA took pictures of the scene and booked the evidence at Ingleside Station. Report number 110885085

9:00am       3100 blk Mission          Theft
Officers Lim and Chew were sent to investigate a report of theft. The victim informed the officers that he had his phone in his jacket pocket, and believed a known suspect must have stolen it without him knowing. The victim did a record check on his cell phone and the phone calls all linked to the suspect. Report number 110885580

2:52pm       600 blk Monterey         Threats
Officer Sugitan responded to a call regarding threats. The officer met with the victim who stated she was in the process of moving and got into a verbal confrontation with a known suspect. The victim said she believed the suspect was going to his car to retrieve a gun, and feared for her safety. The officer detained the suspect and was given permission to search his car for a firearm. The officer also did a check to see if there were any firearms registered under the suspects’ name. Both had negative results. Report number 110885988

Officers Bernard and Johnson responded to check the well being of a victim. The officers met with the victim who informed them there had been an unknown suspect following her. The victim stated she had seen him before and tried to ignore him. The victim said she had never seen the suspect before, except for previous stalking instances. Report number 11087157

6:00pm       100 blk Martson           Vandalism
Police services Aide Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a vandalism incident. The victim told the PSA that he was at home when he noticed that a known suspect walked up to his car and cut the windshield wiper blade. The suspect then walked away. Report number 110884980

7:00pm       100 blk Murray            Theft from Auto
Officer Morgante and reserve officer Martinez responded to investigate a theft from a lock auto. The victim told the officers that she is purse designer and that she had left her designs in boxes in the car. When the victim returned she found a broken window and all her hard work gone! Unfortunately the suspect left no prints! The total loss was over $5000. Report number 110884560

8:43 pm      700 blk Foerster            Robbery
Officers Kneuker Hom responded and prepared a report regarding a robbery. The victim told then officers that a known suspect gained entry to her home. When she arrived she confronted him only to have the suspect push her to the ground and take her cell phone. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was not injured. Report number 110886958
