Arrests:

2:44am               San Jose & Brooke St        D.U.I.
Officers Jones and Dominguez were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle stopped at a green light.  The driver saw the patrol car and proceeded suddenly through the intersection.  While the vehicle proceeded, the brake lights were illuminated, indicating the driver had his foot on the brake even though the vehicle was moving.  The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.  Upon contact with the driver, the officers noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle.  The driver displayed signs of being intoxicated.  After further investigation, the officers took the driver into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol.  Report 110745263

7:35am               900 Blk Geneva Ave           Shoplifting
Officer Giannini was dispatched to a report of a shoplifter.  The suspect had taken several items from a business with no attempt to pay for them.  The suspect was located and positively identified by a witness.  The suspect had several prior arrests for theft, and was booked on a felony.  Report 110745514

Officer Giannini responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim showed the officer that the window to his business had been smashed.  Items were disturbed inside the business but nothing was taken.  Report 110745348

5:30am               1400 Blk Guerrero St          Burglary
Officer Curry was dispatched to a report of a burglary.  The victim stated a suspect had entered her garage and had taken several items from her boyfriend’s vehicle that was parked inside.  Report 110745401

8:00am               4000 Blk Alemany               Personation
CPSA Der took a report regarding false personation.  The victim was contacted by a crediting firm regarding accounts that were past due.  The victim believed his information may have been obtained from a burglary of his home several years ago.  Report 110746299

8:45am               200 Blk Flood Ave               Theft
A victim reported that a suspect had broken into her vehicle and stolen several items.  Report 110740332

12:00pm             Baden & San Jose Ave       Theft
Officers Chew and Lim responded to a report of theft from a vehicle.  The victim told the officers that the window on her vehicle had been smashed.  The suspect took several items from inside the vehicle.  Report 110746421

12:00pm             Unit Blk Phelan Ave            Theft
SFCCPD Officer Smith took a report of a theft.  The victim had placed his personal belongings on a shelf in the locker room.  The victim grabbed his items, but accidentally left behind his wallet and phone.  The victim returned to retrieve them about a minute later, and his items were gone.  Report 110745592

1:40pm               Unit Blk Phelan Ave            Theft
SFCCPD Officer Boyko took a report regarding theft.  The victim put his personal items in a locker and secured it with a pad lock.  Upon his return, the victim discovered the lock had been broken and his locker opened.  His items were gone from inside.  Report 110746415

1:55pm               Unit Blk Phelan Ave            Theft
SFCCPD Sgt. Ngoi took a report regarding theft.  The victim secured his personal items in a locker, and secured it with a lock.  Upon his return, the victim found that he was unable to open the lock using the combination.  The victim had to have the lock cut.  Most of his items were still inside, but his wallet was missing.  Report 110745415

2:00pm               200 Blk Gambier St             Burglary
Officers Chan and Campos responded to a report regarding a burglary.  The victim returned home and found that the back door was open and lights were on inside the garage, which was not how she had left her residence.  The victim entered her residence and realized that several items had been stolen.  Report 110747548

2:00pm               Unit Blk Sears St                 Personation
PSA Flynn took a report regarding a false personation.  The victim was called by a company regarding several open credit card accounts.  The victim had not opened any of the accounts.  Report 110747156

2:20pm               Unit Blk Phelan Ave            Theft
SFCCD Officer Smith took a report regarding theft.  The victim had left her personal belongings in a locker, but did not secure it.  When the victim returned, her items were gone.  Report 110743314

4:00pm               200 Blk Blythdale Ave         Burglary
Officers Duffin and Johnson were dispatched to a report of a burglary.  The victim returned home and attempted to enter her residence.  As she opened the door, it was slammed in her face from inside by the suspect.  The suspect fled out the back door.  The victim chased the suspect to no avail.  The victim’s flat screen TV was missing from her residence.  Report 110746910

Officer Ocreto responded to a report of theft from a building.  The victim reported that a suspect had entered the premise and taken some items before walking back out.  The incident was caught on video.  Report 110746960

5:51pm               600 Blk Portola Ave            Shoplifting
Officer Curry was dispatched to a report of a shoplifter.  The suspect entered the business and took several items and left, without making any attempt to pay for them.  The theft was caught on tape.  The victim said this same suspect had stolen from his business on several occasions before.  The suspect fled the area.  Report 110745865

A victim reported that upon returning to his vehicle, one of the windows was down even though he had left it rolled up.  Several items were taken from the vehicle.  Report 110738688
