Arrests:

11:37pm   Geneva/Mission             Battery
Officers Peregoy, Trail and Hopkins were driving down Mission Street  when they noticed a vehicle that abruptly stopped within a lane of traffic.  A female jumped out from within the stopped vehicle, approached another female seated within the bus stop and began to punch her in the face.  The officers immediately exited the patrol car and pulled the subjects apart.  The victim had been punched several times by the suspect.  Further investigation revealed an animosity between the two subjects due to an earlier family incident.  The suspect was taken into custody for the battery and transported back to the station.  It was also discovered that the driver of the stopped vehicle was unlicensed.  She was cited at the scene and the vehicle towed.   Report Number 110611329

7:25pm  3300 Block Mission St    Battery/Warrant Arrest
Officers Abucay and Pereira were dispatched to this location regarding a physical altercation in the parking lot.  They met with the victim upon arrival on scene.  She informed them that she and her friend had taken a taxi to the store to purchase some items for a barbecue. As they were driving to the store, the suspect became extremely agitated and began arguing with her.  Upon reaching their destination, he punched her in the head and slapped her in the mouth.  He fled from the area prior to the officers arrival.  After getting confirmation from the cabdriver regarding the physical altercation, officers were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody.  Officers also discovered two active warrants in the system for his arrest.  He was booked in at the County Jail.  Report Number 110612355

9:35pm  Coso/Lundys Lane          Narcotics Arrest
Officers Hurwitz, Daggett and Tam were driving in this area when they noticed a vehicle that they had seen earlier in the shift driving around in an area known for narcotics activity.  They conducted a computer query of the vehicle’s registration and discovered that the driver had a false tab displayed on a vehicle that had expired registration.  A traffic stop was effected on the jittery and uncooperative driver of the vehicle.  When the driver was asked to exit the vehicle, he attempted to shield something within his jacket. Officers acted promptly and discovered that the suspect had narcotics secreted within his jacket pocket.  The suspect was taken into their custody without incident and the narcotics seized and booked into evidence.  Excellent job!   Report Number 110612537

1:30pm      100 Blk Peralta St           Theft
CPSA Wong and Officer Fung responded to this location regarding a theft from the victim’s vehicle.  The victim reported that she locked and left her vehicle and when she returned, discovered the front window shattered.  Entry had been made by an unknown suspect and several items that she had left in the car, stolen.  She had no suspect or witness information to provide.  Report Number 110612189


5:00pm  300 Blk Madrid St  Violation: Stay-Away Order
Officers Abucay and Pereira responded to the residence regarding the violation of a Stay-Away Order.  Victim had obtained the court order and the listed suspect was now trying to enter the house.  Officers detained a subject attempting to flee the area on a bicycle and took him into custody.  Officers confirmed that the court order was valid and booked the suspect in at Ingleside Station. 6:55pm    3600 Blk Mission St           Robbery
Officers Archilla and Khan were dispatched to this location regarding a robbery report. The victim explained to officers that he had been walking down the street when he was suddenly approached by two unknown males. The two males surrounded him and then demanded that he give them everything within his possession.  One of the suspects rifled through his pockets while the other suspect held him by the neck.  The victim’s cash, credit cards and other personal items were stolen.  After ripping a necklace from around his neck, the suspects then punched the victim in the face and fled from the area on foot.  The victim did not want an ambulance called and officers unsuccessfully searched the area for potential suspects.   Report Number 110612305

9:00pm      Unit Blk Wabash Terr       Vandalism
CPSA Wong and Officer Fung responded to the residence regarding some personal property that been spray-painted with graffiti.  They met with the victim and were shown a fence surrounding her property that had been vandalized.  The graffiti had been spray-painted on the fence during the time the victim had been away on vacation.  She had no suspect information, the report will be referred to the Gang Task Force.   Report Number 11011965
