11:41am Geneva Ave & Madrid Stolen vehicle
Officer Villaruel was on patrol when he heard a loud muffler from a vehicle. The officer spotted the vehicle and noticed it was traveling at a high rate of speed as it changed lanes to go around a MUNI bus that was unloading passengers. A records check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed that it had been reported as a stolen plate. The officer made a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver. The driver did not have valid insurance and was driving with a suspended license. The driver also had an outstanding felony warrant. The driver was taken into custody. 1:21pm 5100 Blk Mission St Fraud
Officers Sugitan and Fung responded to a report of a person attempting to cash a forged check. The officers contacted the suspect and detained her. The officers confirmed with the company that issued the check that the check was in fact forged and was not intended to be cashed by the suspect. The officers contacted the victim who the check was intended for. The victim said the check was stolen out of his mailbox. The suspect was taken into custody. Report 110439610

Officers Frisk and Banta responded to a report of several suspects harassing employees at a local business. Upon the officers’ arrival, the suspects had fled and the officers were unable to locate them. The victim stated one of the suspects repeatedly stands in front of the business and threatens the employees and threatens him. Report 110441477
1:10pm 100 Blk Schwerin St Robbery
Officers Hornstein and Goldsborough responded to a report of an attempted robbery. The victim was walking from her house when she heard a suspect yell at her to drop her bag. The victim refused. The suspect attempted to forcefully yank the victim’s bag from her arm. The victim struggled with the suspect until she was knocked to the ground and hit her head. A second suspect then attempted to yank the victim’s bag from her while she was on the ground. The suspects were unable to gain control of the victim’s bag. The suspects fled. Report 110442403

Officers Sugitan and Fung responded to a report of an assault. The victim had a large gash on his forehead. The victim stated he got into a confrontation with a suspect that the victim knows. The suspect hit him in the head with a stone. Fearing further injury, the victim fled before calling the police. Report 110442748

Officers Chan and Guzman responded to a report of a theft. The victim stated a suspect picked up two items from her store and asked her how much they were. Before the victim could answer, the suspect fled from the store still holding the items. Report 110443257

Officers Khan and Castillo responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated the suspect yelled obscenities at her and then hit her in the face in the jaw area. Report 110443821
9:00pm 100 Blk Delta St Robbery
Officers Hom and Hom responded to a report of a robbery with a gun. The victim got off the MUNI bus and started walking home when he was approached by a suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim by the collar of his jacket and pointed a gun directly at him. The suspect ordered the victim to give him everything he had on him. A second suspect approached the victim from behind and put him in a choke hold. The victim feared for his life and gave the suspects his personal belongings. The suspects fled. Report 110444186
