Arrests:

7:25am            3100 Blk Mission St             Warrant Arrest
Officers Smethurst and Martinez were on patrol when they witnessed a vehicle make an illegal u-turn.  The officers affected a traffic stop and contacted the driver.  A records check of the driver revealed that he had never been issued a driver’s license and had an outstanding warrant.  The driver was taken into custody.  Report 110288928

4:35pm           1500 Blk Sunnydale Ave              Narcotics
Sgt. McDevitt and Officers Trail, Uang and Hopkins were on duty in the Sunnydale area when they observed a male suspect who they heard a male voice yelling.  The officers saw the male suspect yelling at a woman.  They recognized the suspect from prior police contact.  The officers approached the suspect to talk with him but he fled.  The officers gave chase and caught the suspect a few blocks away.  The suspect was in possession of narcotics and was subsequently arrested.  Report 110290058 ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY***

4:47pm           3700 Blk Mission St                      Narcotics
Officers Archilla and Paras were dispatched to a call of a suspicious person at a bar selling narcotics.  Sgt. Lozada and Officer Gabriel also responded.  The officers detained a suspect who matched the description of the suspicious person.  The suspect was in possession of narcotics packaged in a way that is consistent with sales.  The suspect was taken into custody.  Report 110290070

8:16pm         1800 Blk Sunnydale Ave         Stolen vehicle
Officers Antonian and Campos were on patrol when they conducted a record’s check on a vehicle.  The vehicle came back as a stolen vehicle.  The officers affected a traffic stop on the vehicle and took the driver and a passenger into custody.  Report 110053680

Officers Seavey and Morse were flagged down by a victim regarding a battery.  The victim said that three suspects approached him and started a confrontation.  The suspects began to punch the victim numerous times until a witness shouted at them to stop.  The suspects fled.  The victim did not know any of the suspects.  Report 110291216

Officers Lozano and Benavidez were flagged down by a victim regarding a vandalism.  The victim said the front passenger window of his vehicle had been smashed and he witnessed a suspect inside his vehicle.  The suspect fled and nothing was missing from the vehicle.  Report 110291448

Officers LaRocca and Martinez responded to a report of vandalism.  The victim’s vehicle had been spray painted with red paint.  Report 110289001

Officer Gamboa responded to a report of a theft.  The victim stated that the catalytic converter from his vehicle had been stolen.  Report 110289891

Officers Martinez and LaRocca responded to a report of a theft.  The victim stated that the catalytic converter from his vehicle had been stolen.  Report 110289164

2:00pm       3300 Blk Mission St            Theft from vehicle
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding a theft.  The victim stated that upon return to her car, she discovered several items missing, even though there were no broken windows and she believed she locked her car.  Report 110289653

2:24pm      Elk/Chenery Sts                         Dog off Leash
Officers Johnson and Bernard responded to a report of a dog bite.  The victim stated that he was walking his dog on a leash when another dog that was off leash, attacked his dog.  The victim had to separate the two dogs.  The owner of the second dog grabbed her dog and put him on a leash.  The victim sustained a small scratch but was unsure which dog had caused it. The second dog owner was cited for having a dog off leash.  Report 110289697

Officers Gonzalez and Pereira responded to a call of a robbery.  The victim stated a suspect approached her as she was exiting her vehicle.  The suspect yanked on the victim’s purse and she struggled to hold on to it.  The suspect was able to gain control of the purse and fled.  Report 110290365
