Arrests:

10:37am            200 Blk Paris St                       Vandalism
Officer Smethurst and several other officers responded to a call of a vandalism.  The officers contacted the suspect who was cutting branches from a tree in a park.  The suspect claimed that he had permission to remove the branches.  Further investigation revealed that the suspect did not have permission to cut the branches or to be in the park.  The suspect was cited for vandalism.  Report 110344025

12:00pm           Geneva Ave/Mission St      Warrant Arrest
Officer Phillips was on patrol when he recognized a suspect from previous police contacts.  The officer had knowledge that the suspect had an outstanding warrant.  The officer confirmed the warrant and took the suspect into custody.  Report 101091794

12:19pm           Geneva Ave/Mission St       Graffiti
Officers Lim and Chew were on patrol when they noticed a suspect standing next to a wall that appeared to have fresh graffiti.  The officers contacted the suspect who was in possession of graffiti tools.  The graffiti tools matched the color of the fresh graffiti on the walls.  The suspect admitted he drew graffiti on the wall in honor his dead friend.  The suspect was cited for graffiti and graffiti tools.  Report 110344310

A victim reported that several items were taken from her vehicle.  Although she had left it locked, she returned to find a door open and no other damage to the vehicle.  Report 116053193

A victim reported that a suspect had broken off the windshield wiper on her vehicle.  Report 116052606

A victim reported that she found the side passenger mirror on her vehicle broken and several key marks on the doors.  Report 116052612

12:30pm           2100 Blk Bayshore Blvd                Theft
A victim reported that he parked his vehicle and left it unattended while he went to get lunch.  A short time later, he heard his car alarm.  When he went outside, he realized that the window to his vehicle had been pulled open so that the suspect could reach in and unlock the door.  His cell phone was missing from the center console. A victim reported that a lemon tree was stolen from his front garden.  Report 116052587

4:31am            Unit Blk Mangels Ave   Vandalism, vehicle
Officers Baldovino and Otaguro were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle with the passenger door open and a window shattered.  The officers were unable to contact the registered owner to find out whether any items were missing from the vehicle.  Report 110345485
