Arrests:

12:45pm            700 Blk Cortland Ave                     Battery
Officers Padilla and Sullivan responded to a report of a battery.  The victim stated he got into an argument with the suspect over an ongoing issue between the two of them.  The suspect pushed the victim three times until he lost his balance and fell into a wall.  The victim wanted to press charges against the suspect.  Report 110310048

1:40am             3100 Blk Mission St                      Burglary
Officer Ferronato responded to a report of a burglary.  The front glass door of the business had been smashed and several items were missing.  Report 110309035

2:00am             600 Blk Paris St                           Shooting
Officer Goldsborough responded to a report of a shooting.  The victim said that earlier in the morning she heard several gunshots.  The victim was too scared to look out her window.  When the victim finally left her house later in the day, she discovered several bullet holes on the exterior of her house.  A witness saw two possible suspects fleeing the area shortly after she heard the gunshots.  Report 110309922

Officers Smethurst and Martinez responded to a report of vandalism.  The victim said there was a dent on his vehicle that had not been there the day before. The victim stated he heard a loud noise outside of his residence earlier in the evening but he didn’t look out to see what it was.  Report 110309502

10:00am          Edna/Hearst St              Theft from vehicle
Officer Giannini took a counter report regarding theft from a vehicle.  The victim said the front passenger window of his vehicle was smashed and several items were taken from the car.  Report 110310076

12:00pm         Esquina St/Geneva Ave                    Theft 
Officer Kabanuck took a counter report regarding a theft from a vehicle. The victim said he parked his car so he could walk over to an event nearby.  The victim left a newly purchased handgun in the vehicle that he attempted to conceal under the passenger seat.  When he returned to the vehicle, the front passenger door was ajar and the handgun was missing.  Report 110309950

3:11pm          Unit Blk San Juan                            Burglary
Officers Campos and Paras responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim said a window on the building had been smashed and that several items were taken from the premise.  Report 110310690

7:56pm          700 Blk Bosworth St        Theft from vehicle
PSA Flynn took a report regarding a theft from a vehicle.  The victim stated he returned to his vehicle to find the trunk slightly open.  Several items had been taken.  Report 110311143

9:31pm          Unit Blk Cortland Ave                      Robbery
Officers Ma and Benavides responded to a report of a robbery.  The victim said she was approached from behind from a suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and attempted to yank it from her. The victim struggled to hold onto her purse but the suspect pushed her to the ground.  The suspect was able to gain control of the purse and fled.  Report 110311331
