Arrests:

1:37 am     Virginia/Mission          DUI Arrest
Officer Crispin was on patrol when he noticed a truck driving (at night) with only its parking lights on. The officer followed the truck, yet still the driver did not turn on the lights. Numerous vehicles signaled the truck with no results. The officer pulled the driver and vehicle over. When the driver opened his window, the officer could smell the odor like someone had been drinking.  The driver was asked to submit to a sobriety test (which he failed) and then arrested for drunk driving. 8:22 pm     Unit blk Blythdale      Probation violation
Officers Hopkins, Uang, Obot and Johnson were patrolling the Housing in uniform. The officers observed a group of subjects, that upon seeing the officers, that began to run away from the officers. The officers wanted to investigate what was going on. The officers were able to stop one of the people fleeing and discovered that this subject has a civil Stay Away Order on a “Gang Injuction”.  The subject was also found to have an arrest warrant from Alameda County for $1610.00. The subject was arrested in violation of the Stay Away order and the warrant. Report number 110018753

9:40 pm     700 blk Rockdale       Threats
Officers Shugars and Kneuker were patrolling when they were sent to investigate a call of a fight in progress with weapons. The officers located the victim and the suspect still close by. The victim told the officers that the suspect had a bat and was threatening him.  The suspect at one point hit the ground with the bat that it shattered into three. The victim told the officers that the suspect went on to ask the victim how he wanted it to end. The suspect was also found to have a box of ammunition in his possession. The suspect was arrested and booked for the credible threats. Report number 110019024

Officers Kneuker and Shugars were sent to investigate a theft from an auto case. The victim told the officers that he parked and locked his car only to discover that someone had broken in and removed his property. No suspects were observed. Report number 110018242

4:46 am     Unit blk 30th Street     Burglary
Officer Baldovino was sent to investigate a burglary incident. The officer responded and located the witness that had called. The witness told the officer that he was at home and suddenly heard loud pounding outside. The witness told the officer that he went to investigate and saw a car pulled across the crosswalk. The witness called the police. The witness told the officer that he yelled down at the subject. The subject looked u at the witness, got into the car and sped off. The witness got the plate of the car and gave it to the officer. With this information the vehicle was located and towed (wouldn’t you know it was stolen?). Report number 110016462

6:30 am     1100 blk Naples        Robbery with force
Officers Pai and Araujo were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that she was waiting for the bus by herself. The victim told the officers that the suspect came from behind her. The suspect grabbed her purse and pushed her down to the ground. The suspect then ran and jumped into a waiting car. The victim told the officers that she could not identify the suspect or car. There were no visible injuries to the victim. The loss was $20, and miscellaneous personal items.

8:27 am     600 blk Bosworth      Battery
Officer Morgante was sent to investigate a battery case. The victim told the officer that she had just surfaced from the BART station and was waiting for her friend to pick her up. The victim told the officer that an unknown suspect walked up to her and punched her on the face for no reason. The victim said that as she turned in an attempt to flee the suspect, she hit her knee on a cement light post. The victim may be able to recognize the suspect if seen again. Report number 110017125

2:30 pm     300 blk Campbell       Burglary
Officers Muro and Naval were sent to investigate a burglary incident. The victim told the officers that there have been renovations going on her home for the last month. The victim told the officers that the contractor noticed that there was copper missing when he came in this morning. The point of entry was a second story window. No suspects were observed and $3000 worth of material and equipment taken.  Report number 110017103

6:40 pm     1500 blk Sunnydale   Robbery
Officers Obot and Johnson were flagged down by the victim of a robbery while getting on a MUNI bus. The suspects were wearing masks and dark clothing. The victim told the officers that she yelled at the suspects to take the money and leave the ID’s to no avail. The loss was $60 in cash and property. MTA was contacted for the possible video of the crime. The victim complained of soreness to her shoulder. Report number 1100108402

9:40 pm     Velasco/Santos         Robbery
Officers Deguzman and Pereira were sent to investigate a robbery call. The officers located the victim who told them that he was walking home after parking his car. The victim told the officers that an unknown suspect wearing a white make stuck a gun to his back and told him not to yell or move. Another suspect reached into his pocket and removed $80. Both suspects then fled the scene. No witnesses were lactated. The victim was not injured. Report number 110018963
