Arrests:

01:17 am       4700 blk Mission                 Battery of PO/Resisting
Officers Lim and Archilla stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officers approached the vehicle and saw the driver make a furtive movement.  The officers noticed that the driver and one of the occupants are known gang members.  The driver failed to comply with the officers commands.  He was pulled from the vehicle after striking one of the officers.  The driver suffered an injury due to his resistance. The driver was later cited and released.  Report number 110200095

02:13 am       1900 blk Geneva                 Warrant Arrest
Officers Dudley and Antonian conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation.  The driver was discovered to be a known gang member and the officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle.  The officers discovered that the driver had a warrant for his arrest.  A search of the vehicle and the driver for the marijuana was negative.  The driver was booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 110000631

02:30 am       4700 Mission                       Breaking Windows Arrest
Officers Vizcay and Ferronato responded to a broken window call.  Sgt Rainsford detained the suspect.  The officers were told that the suspect broke a storefront window after having an argument with a woman outside of the store.  The store owner signed a citizens’ arrest for the man who was then cited and released.  Report number 110000722

08:00 am       4700 blk Mission                 Battery
Officers Johnson, Bernard, Pai and Araujo responded to a call of a broken window.  Officers Johnson and Bernard detained a suspect.  A victim stated that he was struck by the suspect numerous times with an umbrella.  It was later discovered during the investigation that the window had been previously broken (see above) and that the suspect had only knocked out some of the damaged glass.  The suspect was cited and released for the battery.  Report number 110001247

02:13 pm       900 blk Ellsworth                Cocaine/Marijuana Sales
Officers Hart and Duffin met with Officers Toomey, Johnson and Bernard regarding a suspicious person.  Officer Toomey contacted and detained a man who he saw exit a vehicle leaving the engine running.  The suspect told the officers that he was in possession of marijuana and cocaine which was for his personal use.  The officers found evidence of narcotics sales in the suspects’ possession.  The officers took him into custody and booked him at County Jail.  Report number 110002126

02:42 pm       Alpha/Arleta                        Robbery, Street, w/Gun
Officers Park and Chang responded to a robbery call with numerous other Ingleside Station officers.  The officers met with the victim who pointed out a man and stated that he had robbed her. The man was taken into custody.  The woman stated that the man was known to her and that she stopped to ask him directions while being driven in her friends car.  The victim stated that the man grabbed money from her bra and then beat her up.  The victim had no visible injuries and the suspect was searched for the money and weapon to no avail.   The area the suspect fled in was also searched to no avail.  The man was on felony probation.  He was booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 110002176

Officer Coles met with a victim who stated that she found that someone had attempted to steal her vehicle.  The victim showed the officer that the engine was on with the ignition missing.  The victim had an steering wheel locking anti-theft device which apparently prevented the theft.  Report number 110001510

03:05 pm       200 blk Blythdale                Battery
Officers Peregoy and Trail responded to an unwanted guest call.  A father had asked his adult daughter to leave his home and she refused.  There was a tussle over a cell phone and both initially wanted to press charges of battery on the other.  Cooler heads then prevailed and neither followed through with the charges.  The officers documented the incident at the daughters’ insistence.  Report number 110002251

04:00 pm       500 blk Tompkins               Theft from Locked Vehicle
A man responded to Ingleside Station and told PSA Flynn that his parked, locked and unattended vehicle was broken into by an unknown person.  The suspect stole the victims’ iPod and Cologne.  Report number 110002461
