09:43 am Unit blk Phelan Theft from Building
SFCCPD Officers Hakes and Smith investigated a theft at the Rosenberg Library. The officers reviewed the footage of that theft and compared it to a previous burglary. The officers were able to identify a suspect and recover the victims’ property. Report number 101112920
02:45 pm Unit blk Phelan Theft from Building
SFCCPD Officer Hector prepared a report regarding a theft at the Wellness Center. The victim told the officer that his backpack containing laptop computer was stolen from in front of his locker in the track team locker room. The victim returned after practice to find the backpack missing. He located the backpack in a bathroom stall minus the laptop. Report number 101113661
10:22 pm Unit blk Geneva Robbery w/ Gun
Officers Padilla and Reyes responded to a robbery call and met with the victim near the Balboa Bart Station. The victim told the officers that she was walking on Geneva when she was approached by two African American males between 15-20 years old. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her money while the other suspect searched her pockets. The victim dropped her purse and told the suspects that her money was inside. The suspect took the purse and ran toward Ocean Ave. The officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail. Suspect 1: 5’10, heavyset, with buzz cut wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Suspect 2: 6’0, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Report number 101114976
11:30 pm 100 blk Crescent Robbery w/ Gun
Officers Otaguro and Baldovino responded to a robbery call. The victim told the officers that he was walking on Crescent when he saw two African American males. One was pacing back and forth on the sidewalk across the street from him and the other suspect was seated in a stairwell on the same side as the victim. The first suspect crossed the street and approached him with a gun in his hand and demanded his money. The victim took a few dollars that he had in his shirt pocket and handed it to the suspect. The second suspect had approached the victim as well. The suspect then demanded more money so the victim pulled out his wallet and the suspects snatched it from him. The suspects gave the victim back his wallet at his urging. The suspect then walked away toward Mission St. Report number 101115162
