Officers Fung and Suguitan were sent to investigate an embezzlement case. The victim told the officers that a known suspect was possibly taking money from her. The officers also interviewed a witness and documented the incident. There was no documentation to the allegation. This case was assigned to an investigator and is under investigation. Report number 101071188

1:00 am         300 blk Edinburgh             Vehicle Strip
Officers Suguitan and Fung were sent to investigate an auto strip. The victim told the officer that while looking on Craig’s List she saw, what she believed, were her stolen rims. This case is still under investigation. Report number 100321550

2:47 pm         Unit blk Phelan                   Theft from Building
SFCCPD Officer Burlyga was sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officer that she placed all her property in a locker and locked it. The victim then went to exercise. 30 minutes later the victim discovered her locker open and the lock missing. Needles to say, her property was missing as well.  The victim called the police for the report. While the victim was filing the report she called to have her credit cards cancelled (now 45 minutes since theft) to learn that someone had already used the card to purchase gas. Officers Murphy and Tillan were sent to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The victim told the officers that she was on the bus seated near the rear exit, and playing a game on her IPhone to pass the time. The victim told the officers that a Hispanic male between the ages of 18-20 walked up to her and grabbed her phone. The two struggled over the phone for a moment with the suspect winning the tug-of-war. The suspect exited the bus and fled on foot. Report number 101071718

Officers Robinson and Pereira were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officers that someone had deliberately scratched the screen on an ATM machine. The officers observed the scratches and filed the report. Report number 101072192

6:00 pm         4000 blk Mission                  Attempted Burglary            
Officers Sugitan and Fung were sent to investigate an attempted burglary. The victim told the officers that an unknown suspect tried to gain entry to his home by prying the front gate open. The suspect was not able to get in. Report number 101071843

6:36pm          Unit blk Harrington            Fraud
Officer Coles prepared a report regarding a fraud with a credit card. The victim told the officers that while out shopping, he went to pay with his credit card and discovered he was over his credit limit. The victim checked with his bank and discovered that someone had made a $4000 withdrawal without his permission. Report number 101071536

7:30 pm         500 blk Ellsworth                Vandalism
Officers Uang and Hopkins were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officers that while at home an unknown suspect began banging on her front door. By the time the victim got to the door the person was gone. The victim noticed that the door would not close correctly. Upon checking discovered that the door had been damaged and could not close correctly. Report number 101070964

9:00 pm         Unit blk Argonaut               Robbery with Force
Officers Apodaca and Gabriel were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that after getting off the bus, she was walking home. The victim told the officers that she turned a corner and heard footsteps behind her. The victim said that one of the 5 suspects pushed her to the sidewalk and began to pound her head against it. The suspects took the purse and fled on foot. The victim sustained non life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. Report number 101069622

9:30 pm         Excelsior/Vienna                Robbery with Gun
Officers Hermosura and Contreras were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that he was walking home when he was stopped by two suspects. The suspects told him in Spanish to give up his things. One suspect then told the other to pull out the gun. The victim feared for his life, dropped all his property and fled the scene. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim was not injured. Report number 101072982
