Officers Antonian and Kneuker responded to a purse snatch call. The officers met with the victim who told the officers that she exited a Muni bus and walked two blocks to her home. As she climbed the stairs to her door she was pulled from behind and fell to the ground. She saw that an African American male, 18-22 years old, 5’5, 180 lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, was pulling her down. The suspect then pulled her purse from her and ran away north on Santos. She was not injured. Numerous officers searched the area for the suspects and the purse to no avail. Report number 101075710
11:45 am Congo/Joost Aggravated Assault w/ Knife
Officer Ferronato responded to a stabbing call with numerous other officers. The officer spoke with the victim who stated that he was walking to his home on Monterey when he was approached by a Caucasian male adult with a British accent. The victim stated that the man asked for his help pushing his disabled vehicle and directed the victim to Congo and Joost. As they were walking the victim became suspicious and declared that he needed to go home. The suspect suddenly lunged at the victim and pushed him then ran away. The victim noticed pain on his right side and found that he had been stabbed on the upper arm and torso. Neither wound was life threatening. The officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail. Report number 101076417
