Arrests:

07:08 pm       5200 Diamond Hgts                       Petty Theft w/ Prior
A store employee was seen by a security guard running after a man from the store.  The guard and the employee were able to get the man in custody.  The suspect had stolen several items from the store.  Officers Gomez and Lim responded and took over custody of the suspect.  A computer query revealed that the suspect had numerous prior theft convictions and was therefore booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 100996294

07:51 pm       Visitacion/Schwerin                      Robbery w/Force
Officers Peregoy and Trail were flagged down and directed to a stopped Muni bus.  The officers located a man bleeding from the mouth who told them that he had been robbed and beaten.  The officers located a group of young Pacific Islander males and detained them.  One of the detained was later determined to be responsible for the victims’ injury.  The victim told the officers that he was seated on the bus, texting on his cell phone, when an African American male suddenly grabbed his phone and attempted to run off of the bus.  The victim grabbed the suspect and wrestled with him off of the bus.  The group of Pacific Islander boys exited the bus after them and one of those boys punched the victim numerous times causing his injury.  The suspect escaped capture with the victims’ property.  One suspect was booked at Ingleside Station and the others were released.  Report number 100996410

04:00 am       5300 blk Diamond Hghts              Vandalism to Vehicles
Officers Rosiak and Trujillo responded to a call of vandalism and met with numerous vehicle owners who had discovered that their vehicle had been damaged.  The officers found eleven vehicles had been damaged with punctured tires, cracked windshields and dents and scratches within a two block area.  No suspect information was provided.  Report number 100994248

A man approached PSA Zabarte at Ingleside Station and told him that he had been punched on the nose by another man at a gas station.  The victim stated that the suspect was impatient, waiting for the victim to finish pumping gas, as the suspect was blocked in by the victims’ vehicle.  The suspect then suddenly exited his car, approached the victim and punched him once on the nose causing an injury.  The suspect then fled the area.  The suspect was described as a Samoan male, 50-55 years old, 5’6, 170 lbs, with salt/pepper hair, wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.  Report number 100994458

Officer Araujo responded to a store where the manager had a suspect from a previous theft detained.  The officer was shown video of the suspect stealing from the store about two weeks prior.  The suspect was identified and then released pending review by the District Attorneys Office.  Report number 100950563

01:44 pm       3500 blk Mission                             Robbery w/Gun
Officers Sullivan and Chang responded to a robbery with numerous other Ingleside Officers.  The officers met with the victim who stated that an African American male, 38-40 years old, 5’3, 130 lbs, approached her at the counter in the service station.  The suspect indicated that he had a gun concealed in his coat pocket and demanded the money from the register.  The victim complied and the suspect fled the store.  A nearby worker told the officers that he observed the suspect run behind the store and get into a 90’s Jaguar Sovereign that was being driven by another African American male.  The vehicle then fled the area.  The officers searched for the suspects and the vehicle to no avail.  Report number 100994997

Officer Preston responded to a home and spoke with the owner who told him that someone had damaged the front door security gate.  The victim stated that the previous date he entered his home and found nothing damaged.  Upon exiting his home on this date he saw that the gate was damaged and there appeared to by prymarks at the latch cover.  No suspect information was available.  Report number 100995525

07:33 pm       Westwood/Wildwood                    Robbery w/Force
Officers Robinson and Pereira responded to a robbery call.  SF City College officer as well as other Ingleside Officers responded to the area as well.  The officers met with the victims who told them that they had just been robbed by three African American males, 15- 20 years old, who were wearing Giants clothing and caps.  The victims were walking from Ocean Ave up Westwood when the three suspects ran up behind them.  One suspect grabbed the female victims backpack from her shoulder and ran away.  A jacket was thrown over the male victims’ head and he was pushed to the ground.  The suspects demanded his money and he complied.  The suspects then ran away.  The female victim later recovered much of her property as it had been disposed of in the garbage been of a nearby home.  Her money, keys and cell phone were not recovered.  Report number 100996404

10:30 pm       500 blk Naples                            Burglary, Unlawful Entry
Officer Hermosura responded to a burglary call and met with the victims.  The victims stated that a window was left open for ventilation while the house was unoccupied.  The victims returned and found that the screen was removed from the window. The victims found that one bedroom had been ransacked and a laptop computer and other electronics were stolen.  Report number 100996705
