02:42 pm       500 blk Cortland                 Drinking in Public/Resisting
Officer Rueca was on patrol when he saw two people standing on the sidewalk. One of them was drinking beer. The man drinking refused to provide his personal information, so he was detained in the police car as Officer Rueca tried to collect evidence of the drinking. As he did so, the woman the suspect had been standing with kicked away the beverage container and began to fight with the officer. The woman had to be restrained, and both suspects were taken into custody. Report number 100936494

Officer Sullivan and Officer Padilla responded to the report of a person caught shoplifting at supermarket. The suspect had been caught by security as she tried to steal alcohol and other items. The woman was given a citation for the theft attempt. Report number 100936701

Ingleside Housing Officers Hopkins, Uang, Johnson, and Obot served four documented gang members with a civil gang injunction throughout the day. The gang injunction had been issued on Sept. 30th 2010 against gangs in the Sunnydale housing area. Report numbers 100936513, 100936400, 100936074, 100935866

Officer Pai responded to the report of a burglary. The victim had arrived home to find her blinds pulled down, and her front door unlocked. Inside the house, she discovered that someone had stolen multiple pieces of jewelry and a laptop computer. A safe which had contained jewelry had been opened either with a key or with a passcode, as there were no signs of forced entry. The loss was valued at over $22,000. Report number 100936290

PSA Guituan prepared a report at Ingleside Station regarding vandalism. The victim said that he came out to his parked car to find that someone had used a blue marker to put graffiti on it. Report number 100937630
