Arrests:
4:40pm Ocean &
Howth Battery
A confrontation between a passenger and the operator of MUNI
bus prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Marshall, Thomas, and Park to
investigate. When they arrived they found the driver complaining of pain to his
left arm and a passenger who was possibly under the influence of drugs. The
driver, who refused medical attention, told the officers that the passenger was
talking incoherently to other passengers on the bus. The driver stopped the bus
to let the passenger off, but instead of leaving, he ran to the front and
attacked the driver. Report number: 180166633
Serious
Incidents:
6:48am 100 Blk. Dublin Shooting
Ingleside
Officers Trujillo and Lau were the first of several Ingleside officers to
respond after a report of “shots fired” on the 100 block of Dublin Street. When
they arrived they found bullet casings in the street and several gunshot holes
in a home on the block. A search of the home found no casualties. Witnesses and
nearby surveillance video showed two suspects in, what later turned out to be a
stolen Honda Accord, driving past the home. One of the suspects was seen
holding a firearm out the passenger window and firing three shots at the
residence. Later that afternoon, Ingleside Officers Lee, Barajas, and Seavey
located another vehicle involved in the shooting at Turk and Jones Street. The
officers arrested the occupant of the vehicle and confiscated ammunition
matching the ammunition casings found on Dublin Street. Report number: 180165271
