The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

Arrests:


5:04am       3200 Blk. Folsom                      Burglary
A report of burglars attempting to break into a building sent Ingleside Officers George and Parker to investigate. Witnesses told the officers that two men went from a rental truck to the building and tried to break into the facility. The officers interviewed the witness who refused to identify the two suspects for fear of retaliation. But, the officers ran a computer check of both suspects and one of them had an outstanding burglary warrant for his arrest. He was placed in custody and driven to Ingleside Station for booking. 3:54pm       San Jose & Baden                    Theft
One alert officer spotted a suspected package thief walking down the street. Ingleside Officer Lee saw the man wanted for taking a package from an address on the 100 block of Baltimore. The suspect was arrested and admitted to taking the package because it “contained sandals” that he wanted. He was cited for the petty theft and released. Report number: 180150062




Serious Incidents:


1:58pm       100 Blk. Rolph                         Robbery
A woman walking east on Rolph Street was approached by a man walking west. She told Ingleside Officers Johnson and Peregrina that as the man passed her he suddenly grabbed her purse from around her shoulders. The move yanked the victim to the ground and the suspect took off with her property. She declined medical attention and told the officers her purse contained a wallet, bank cards, cash, and her driver’s license. Report number: 180155131


3:15pm       200 Blk. Leland                       Theft
Another woman walking down the street also had her purse taken by a thief. The victim told Ingleside Officer Fazli and Sgt. Ly that a suspect suddenly approached her and grabbed her purse which was resting on top of belongings in a shopping cart. The suspect then ran to a waiting vehicle which sped away. The loss was cash, medical insurance cards, keys, and identification. Report number: 180155294
