The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

Arrests:

4:11am       Powhattan & Nebraska                  Burglary
Ingleside Officers Zhao and Fogarty were dispatched to a construction site to investigate a possible burglary involving three suspects driving a U Haul van. It was the same address where, two days before, officers were sent to investigate another burglary. When they arrived the suspects, in a rental van were gone, and the site was open. Soon, thereafter, Ingleside Officers Urai, Mroz, and Cagney had stopped the van at Folsom and Tomkins Streets. The officers found numerous burglary and other tools along with two black masks. After interviews, the driver of the van was arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and other crimes and transported to Ingleside Station for booking. 1:50pm       1 Sgt. John Young Drive              Investigative Detention
A San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department employee called police to report two students threatening him at the restroom adjacent to Ingleside Station. Ingleside Officers Ocreto, Piper, Zandanel, and Peralta arrived and talked to the Park Dept. employee who claimed that he found two students smoking marijuana in the bathroom. When he said he was going to call police, one of the two threatened to hit the employee. The officers found the two students at a picnic table in the park. Both students claimed they didn’t threaten the Park employee, but did acknowledge having and smoking marijuana in the bathroom. One of the students was cited for possession of marijuana and released to his parents. The other was released at the scene. Report number: 171036366



Serious Incidents:

7:20pm       Unit Blk. Niagara                             Shots Fired
Ingleside Officers Archilla and Lustenberger were dispatched to a report of “shots fired” and arrived to find no suspects. But, they did find six 9mm bullet casings in the unit block of Niagara. The officers viewed security camera video from buildings in the area and saw pictures of several possible suspects along with a vehicle possibly related to the crime. Report number: 171037007


8:50pm       Bayshore & Sunnydale                    Robbery
A man waiting for the bus was violently attacked by two unknown suspects. The victim told Ingleside Officers Hoge and Wong the suspects punched him in the face knocking two teeth out of his mouth. The suspects then grabbed the victim’s cell phone and escaped in an unknown direction. The victim was treated at the scene by medical personnel. Report number: 171037132
