When they approached the car the officers could smell marijuana. A search turned up almost five grams of marijuana along with a fully loaded .45 caliber Glock handgun hidden under the front passenger seat. The gun and marijuana were seized and the car released to its owner. The driver was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm, marijuana offense, and traffic violations.
