A
man, asleep in bed, was suddenly awakened by the sound of breaking glass. He
got up and went to the living room and found his front window broken and a rock
on the living room floor. He told his mother to call police and went outside
where his neighbors were inspecting broken car windows, a broken garage door
window, all caused by the same suspect. The victims gave Ingleside Officers
Parker and Salazar the same description of the woman suspect. The officers
found her near the intersection of Nevada and Cortland. She was arrested and
driven back to Ingleside Station for the vandalism. Report number: 170638379
10:04pm 500 Blk. Vienna Stolen Property
Ingleside
Officers Carew, Archilla, and Lee were on routine patrol when dispatch directed
them to a home on Vienna Street where residents had reported a man and woman
attempted to break into their home. The victims gave the officers a description
of the pair, and Carew, Archilla, and Lee started searching the surrounding
area for the suspects. It wasn’t a long search because the suspects were found
a short distance away on Naples near Persia. Both were placed into custody. The
male suspect had a warrant for his arrest for receiving stolen property. He
also had a credit card from a woman whose car was broken into and a set of
shaved keys used to steal automobiles. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked
for the warrant and for the possession of stolen property. His companion was
