Arrests:1:24am 30th & Mission Aggravated AssaultA dispute on a #14 Muni bus escalated into a full blown fight with the victim suffering serious injuries. Witnesses told Ingleside Officers Cassinelli, Cagney, and Ragusa that a verbal dispute soon turned physical between two men. The pair exited the bus at 30th and Mission where the fight continued between the two along with a third man who was sitting at the bus stop. The two suspects punched, kicked, and stomped the victim several times. The fight was still in progress when the officers pulled up and observed the two suspects dragging the victim down the middle of Mission Street while assaulting him. When the suspects saw the officers they took off running. One escaped, but the officers were able to capture the other one nearby. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The victim was transported to San Francisco General where he was immediately taken to surgery for a broken eye socket and possible traumatic brain injury. Report number: 170179925Serious Incidents:10:45am Mission & Kingston BatteryA motorist, upset about getting a parking citation, attacked a parking control officer. The victim told Ingleside Officers Kerlegan and Thompson that he was writing a ticket for a car parked in a red zone and for not having a license plate, when the motorist exited from a nearby building and snatched the ticket from the parking officer’s hand. When the officer continued writing a new citation, the unknown suspect became angry and struck the officer on his hand. The suspect then entered his vehicle and sped away. Report number: 1701805803:30pm Geneva & Mission TheftA woman walked into Ingleside Station to report a theft. She told Police Services Aide Bruce that her stepdaughter took her backpack while both of them traveled on a Muni bus. The backpack contained a wallet, a debit card, California ID, and medical ID cards. The victim said she later discovered that her stepdaughter used her debit card to pay her cable bill. PSA Bruce requested Muni forward security footage of the theft to the Station Investigation Team.
