Crescent Robbery w/gun
Two women walking home from a night out were suddenly
confronted by three men wearing ski masks. All three had firearms and one of
the suspects told the women to surrender their property or he was going to kill
them. One suspect patted down one of the victims looking for property. Next,
one of the victims surrendered her brown bag containing keys, driver’s license,
credit cards, and wallet. The suspects then escaped by running northbound on
Crescent while the victims ran home to call police. Ingleside Officers Zhao and
Washington responded talked to the victims and broadcast a description of the
suspects. A short time later Ingleside Officer Stoffel, hearing a description
of the suspects, saw an older Toyota sedan traveling in the wrong direction on
Prentis Street. He broadcast a description of the car and Sgt. Fegan spotted
the vehicle in the vicinity of the Farmers Market traveling at a high rate of
speed. He followed the Toyota, while radioing a vehicle description and his
location, as the car traveled eastbound on Bradford toward Tompkins where it
collided with a parked van. The Toyota continued up the hill, smoke pouring
from the hood, until it reached the top of the hill and the occupants abandoned
