Arrests:

9:30pm       2200 Blk. Geneva                   Resisting Arrest
Muni dispatch called police to report a passenger who was refusing to leave a bus. Ingleside Officers Zhao and Washington arrived and boarded the bus where the driver pointed out a passenger who was splayed across the entire back seat of the bus. The officers asked the suspect to leave the bus but he said “no”. They repeated the demand several times and each time the response was the same. Each time the officers approached the suspect he would get into a “fighting” stance and dare the officers to remove him. Zhao and Washington requested backup and several additional Ingleside units arrived. With the help of that additional personnel, the officers were able to remove the physically combative passenger from the bus and place him in handcuffs. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for evaluation. Report number: 170135610

Serious Incidents:

9:00pm       5100 Blk. Mission                    Robbery
A woman walking home from the bus stop was violently attacked by a robber. She told Ingleside Officer Alioto and Sergeant Hoang that, while walking southbound on Mission, from Geneva, she noticed an unknown man following her. A short time later she felt the suspect grabbing at her purse from behind. She tried to hold on to her purse, but the suspect spun her around and threw her to the ground on the concrete pavement. She landed face down striking her forehead, right shin, fingers, and teeth. The suspect then escaped running northbound on Mission. Medical assistance arrived and treated the victim for her injuries. The loss was cash, driver’s license, social security card, and a debit card. Report number: 170135494
