Arrests:

12:45pm     Bayshore & Arleta                 D.U.I
Ingleside Officer Andreotti, working traffic control, spotted a Toyota pickup truck stopped in traffic several feet behind the crosswalk. A pedestrian told Andreotti that the driver may need assistance. Andreotti walked up to the cab of the truck and noticed the woman driver with her head down appearing to be asleep. The engine was running and fortunately, the wheels were turned against the curb near the LRV tracks. Officer Andreotti turned off the ignition and placed the truck in “park”, and asked the driver to step out. With little response, he removed the driver and placed her in handcuffs on the LRV platform. Other officers soon arrived and were needed to help the woman walk to a patrol car. She was too intoxicated to stand and, therefore perform the standardized roadside sobriety test. The suspect was taken to Mission Station where two breathalyzer tests revealed a blood alcohol concentration of .312 and .305, roughly four times the legal limit. Report number: 160913379
