6:20pm Geneva/Mission Attempted
Robbery
A Muni passenger and his friend, riding home on the #8 bus,
was approached by another passenger who asked for money. The victim didn’t
respond to the demand. Next, the victim told Ingleside Officers Trumpp and
Calupad, he got off the bus at Geneva and Mission with the suspect following
him. The suspect again demanded money, but this time, he punched the victim
twice in the face and grabbed his backpack. When he couldn’t pry it off the
victim’s back, he fled north on Mission. The victim’s friend called police.
Several Ingleside units searched the area for the suspect but were unable to
