Serious Incidents:

6:49am                        100 Blk. Forrester                    Hot Prowl Burglary
A woman, out walking her dog, returned home to notice the light from a flashlight shining from inside her home. She let go of her dog and went inside her home and found a strange woman. The homeowner yelled to the woman, “what are you doing here?’ The burglar replied, “The guy told me I could sleep here and he’s coming back”. The homeowner knew this, of course, was a lie. The intruder then tried to push her way out of the door past the homeowner and the two began to fight. Punches were exchanged and both combatants fell to the ground. During the altercation, and before the burglar escaped, the homeowner received a serious injury to her eye. The burglar escaped in an unknown direction without taking any property.  The homeowner called police. Ingleside officers Labson, Thompson, and Baldovino arrived and immediately summoned medical help. The homeowner was transported San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Report number: 160485118

1:44pm                         4800 Blk. Mission                       Robbery w/Force
A particularly violent criminal assaulted a store employee for a relatively small amount of cash. The store employee told Ingleside officers Hopkins and Henderson that a masked robber entered the store, jumped over the counter, opened the cash register and took a small amount of cash. The robber then grabbed the employee by the hair, pulled her toward him, yelling, “come here [expletive]! Where’s the rest of the money at?” He then dragged the woman down a hallway and kicked open several doors looking for additional funds. He found a safe in one of the rooms but the employee did not have keys for the safe. He then left the store and escaped running northbound on Mission and then eastbound on Russia Street. Report number: 160485986

9:50pm                        Addison & Farnum                      Robbery w/Gun
A man walking his dog in the Walter Haas Playground was robbed of his possessions. The victim told Ingleside officers McMilton and Sandoval that two men approached him pointing a small black gun at his face and yelling “don’t move!”  The suspects then rifled through the victim’s pocket removing his cell phone. The suspects escaped taking the victim’s bicycle too. Report number: 160487681

A man went to bed at 11:00pm only to be woken up at 2:00am by a noise and a light in the entry way of his home. Thinking it was his nephew returning home, he went back to sleep. He told Ingleside officers Valenzuela and Hauscarriague, that he awoke later in the morning to find a garage door forced open and several expensive items missing from the garage, including an Apple laptop and various construction tools belonging to a contractor doing work on the home.
