1:58am                         4000 Blk. Folsom                     Hot Prowl Burglary
A fourteen year old boy awoke to use the bathroom while his parents were asleep in another room. As he walked in the hallway towards the bathroom he was suddenly met by an unknown woman. The woman, never spoke, but instead ran out the front door of the residence. The parents called police and Ingleside officers Dilag and MacKenzie responded and talked to the family who said the son’s laptop computer was stolen by the intruder. The officers were told the intruder most likely entered through an unlocked front door. Report number: 160476559
 
12:16pm                            4800 Blk. Mission                                  Shooting
A report of “shots fired” sent Ingleside officers Cvetovac, Hornstein, Gil, Zasly, Johnson, and Sgt. Martin to investigate the incident. When they arrived they found bullet casings and shell casings in the street. A vehicle and a nearby business had also suffered damage from bullets. The officers reviewed nearby surveillance video and observed gunfire erupting from either or both two vehicles passing each other in opposite directions on Mission Street. The case has been assigned to the Ingleside Station Investigative Team. Report number: 160477422
 
11:02pm                             300 Blk. Richland              Aggravated Assault
Another “shots fired” report sent Ingleside officers Calupad and Dungca to a home on the 300 block of Richland. When they arrived they found a young man holding a towel to a wound near his right eye. The officers summoned an ambulance and talked to the man who said he and friends were listening to music in the garage of the home when they heard a knock at a side door near the garage. The victim answered the door and an unknown man, holding a flare gun, fired a projectile hitting him in the face. The victim told the officers he had no idea why he was attacked.
