She told Ingleside Officers Stark, Carew, and Villalazano that she continued walking a short distance before the suspect grabbed her purse from behind trying to yank it from her shoulder. The victim struggled to hold onto her purse while the suspect pulled the victim to the ground by the strap of the purse and dragged her along the sidewalk. She finally relinquished her grip of the purse and the suspect ran away with her property. The loss was cash and prescription glasses. The victim declined medical attention. Report number: 1601238416:00am Unit Blk Ina Hot Prowl BurglaryLongtime homeowners went to sleep at night and were awakened the next morning by a neighbor who told them their garage door was open. The victims went downstairs to the garage and found several tools missing. Ingleside Officer Lewis was dispatched to the crime scene and found there was no evidence the garage door was forced open. He interviewed neighbors, none of whom noticed anything unusual the night before. Report number: 1601266133:30pm Persia/Madrid RobberyA student was on his way home from school when, as he told Ingleside Officers Hardy and Scott, another student ran up from behind and hit him in the head. The victim fell to the ground and the attacker picked up the student’s hover board and escaped on to a nearby MUNI bus. The victim told the officers he knew the student who attacked him.
