SFPD and San Francisco Planning are
working with the operators of the radio tower at the top of Bernal Hill to make
security (e.g. fencing upgrades and cameras) and landscaping improvements. This tower
hosts antennas for both commercial systems as well as those used for
communications by first responders (police and firefighters). The
improvements are currently underway by American Tower. The
lighting will also be adjusted and placed on a motion-sensor.
We would welcome your help in being an extra set
of eyes and ears to discourage vandalism or potential disruption to crucial
police and fire communications. If you see something suspicious, please call
police dispatch at (415) 553-0123 or in an emergency call (415) 553-8090.
If you have questions about
tower itself, please contact the Wireless Planner, Omar Masry, at (415)
575-9116, or Omar.Masry@sfgov.org

backup and several Ingleside units responded to help with the arrest. Inside
were two occupants, one, and the driver, with an outstanding warrant from South

Blk Burrows Carjacking
A woman working for a medical marijuana delivery service
was violently robbed and her car stolen. The victim told Ingleside Officers
Neary and Hermosura that she was sent to an address on Borrows street. When she
pulled up she noticed two men hiding behind some nearby trees. She called the
customer to make sure she was home and when the customer answered, the woman
got out of her car to go to the customer’s front door. But, before she could
get there, two men, wearing masks, grabbed her around the neck. The victim
started screaming and fought back, biting the suspects on the arm and hand. The
two suspects then jumped into the victim’s car and sped away. Inside the car
was the victim’s purse and some product packaged for delivery. The car was
later found abandoned, with the engine running, a few blocks away. The victim
was treated at the scene by medical personnel. Report number: 150988097
