Arrests:
10:10pm Virginia/Mission Attempted Robbery
Dispatch received a report of a physical fight between
two groups of men and women at the intersection of Virginia and Mission.
Ingleside Officers Hermosura, Glenn, Ferronato, Wells, and Hoge responded and
found four men and one woman on the sidewalk suffering from assorted injuries.
The victim’s told the officers they were walking home with a box of beer when a
van, containing two men, pulled up next to them. The suspects got out of the
van and demanded the victims surrender the beer. When they refused, a fight
broke out with one of the suspects wielding a baseball bat. The suspects, unable
to get the beer, got back in the van and drove away. A short time later, and
before police arrived, the suspects drove by the victims again and threw empty
beer bottles at the victims. For some reason, the suspects couldn’t stay away
from the victims. While officers were interviewing the victims, the suspects
drove by again. This time, officers were able to quickly stop the van and
arrest the suspects for attempted robbery and assault. Report number: 150824112

Blk Mission Attempted
Robbery
A man walking his bike on the sidewalk was approached by
two suspects in a car passing by. One of the suspects got out of the car and
demanded the victim surrender his backpack. Instead, as the victim related to
Ingleside Officers Lucia and Ferronato, he quickly jumped back onto his bike
and escaped. Report number: 150821607

Blk Ocean Armed Robbery
A man walking westbound on Ocean Avenue was approached by
another man walking eastbound. The victim told Ingleside Officers Lucia, Glenn,
and Hermosura that the suspect demanded the victim’s cell phones and cash.
After taking his property, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the
victim in the stomach. Medics treated the victim at the scene before being transferred
to San Francisco General Hospital where he was listed in “stable” condition.
Numerous Ingleside units scoured the surrounding neighborhood for the suspect

Blk Onondaga Aggravated Assault
An early morning chore for one Ingleside district
resident turned unexpectedly violent. The victim told Ingleside Officers Zasly
and Mora, that he decided to wash his wife’s Honda parked across the street
from their home. He opened the garage door and was walking across the street
when he noticed an unknown suspect sitting in the driver’s seat of the Honda.
The Honda’s trunk was also open. The victim backed up and yelled to his wife to
call “911”. The suspect jumped out of the Honda and into to the driver’s seat
of a waiting Lincoln Town Car which then sped at the victim who was standing in
the street. The victim jumped to safety behind another parked car. The loss was
a car vacuum. Report number: 150822241

Blk Moscow Battery
A friendly soccer match turned violent when one player
decided to kick an athlete on an opposing team. A fight broke out among team
members and one of the players, trying to separate the combatants, was
seriously injured. The victim and witnesses told Ingleside Officers Wong and
Marshall that one the soccer players punched the peacemaker in the nose,
sending him to the ground. He was treated at the scene by medical personnel.
