Arrests:

12:33am     Mission/Precita                      D.U.I
A report of a traffic collision at Mission and Precita prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officer Ferronato to investigate. When officer Ferronato arrived he found two severely damaged vehicles and one of the drivers inside an ambulance awaiting treatment for his injuries. The other driver told Officer Ferronato that she was stopped at a stoplight at Mission and Precita, facing southbound, when the other driver, traveling northbound on Mission, went through the red light and collided with her car. After the collision the driver who hit her car attempted to escape but the damage to his vehicle prevented him from driving away from the scene. A passenger in the struck vehicle confirmed her view of events. Officer Ferronato then tried to interview the driver of the other vehicle who was still lying inside the ambulance. Officer Ferronato noticed the driver’s eyes were bloodshot and his speech was slurred. He also did not have a driver’s license. The suspect was taken to Mission Station where a blood alcohol test was performed. After the test he was taken to the County Jail where he was booked for driving under the influence and driving without a license. Report number: 150359250

11:12pm     Unit Blk Blythdale                  Resisting Arrest
Ingleside Officers Lucia, Hackard, Lee, and Franceschi were sent to a home where one of the residents reported a disturbance. When they arrived they were told that another resident was acting strangely and was upstairs taking a television apart with a pocket knife. The reporting party said that her housemate may be high on methamphetamine. The officers went upstairs and found the suspect holding a pocket knife and a bottle opener. The officers asked him to drop the weapons and he refused. They then tackled the suspect and, after a prolonged struggle, were able to place him in restraints for transport to the County Jail. A records check revealed an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a narcotics violation. Report number: 150361788
