Arrests:

8:04pm       200 Blk Cortland                          D.U.I.
Some of the residents of the 200 Block of Cortland had their Oscar viewing interrupted by the sound of metal on metal. When they looked out their windows they spotted the driver of a car that had already sideswiped three parked cars sitting in his vehicle. But he wasn’t finished with his rampage. He proceeded to back up and hit one the parked cars a couple of more times before exiting his vehicle and attempting an escape by staggering away down the street. Fortunately in his state of inebriation he was unable to get very far before Ingleside Officers Imsand and Siracusa caught up and detained him. He was arrested, and after a blood alcohol test at Mission Station, taken to the County Jail. 8:31pm       200 Blk Geneva                           Robbery w/force

9:50pm       Moscow/Brazil                           Robbery w/force
A man walking home from his parked car felt uneasy after observing an older Honda, with three occupants, slowly following him. The victim reversed course and started walking home in a different direction but the Honda occupants soon found him, stopped their car, and two men quickly grabbed him from behind, pinning his arms, telling him, “Give me everything you got”. The victim told Ingleside Officers Hardy and Lee that he was afraid for his life and started fighting back. But one of the suspects punched him several times in the face while another shook him violently and tried to body slam him to the ground. One of the suspects then reached into the victim’s pockets and removed his wallet, containing driver’s license, credit cards, and a cell phone before running back to the Honda and escaping.
