Incident Date:Monday, January 19th, 2015The next community meeting at Ingleside Station will be held on February 17, 2015 at 7p.m. Thank you.Arrests:2:57am Mission/Trumbull Recovered VehicleA Dodge Caravan without license plates caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Casey and Hauscarriague. The officers turned on their emergency lights and siren and the driver pulled the Caravan over. A quick look inside the vehicle revealed a shaved key in the ignition switch. The driver said he didn’t have his driver’s license with him and neither did he have any paperwork for the vehicle. A computer check revealed the vehicle was stolen and the driver was on probation for a previous burglary conviction. He was taken to Ingleside Station were a search revealed a glass pipe in one of his pockets used to smoke methamphetamine. He was booked for vehicle theft, narcotics paraphernalia possession and parole violation. The vehicle’s owner arrived at Ingleside Station and retrieved his stolen van. Report number: 150056086Serious Incidents:12:53am Unit Blk Lawrence Attempted RobberyA speech impaired man parking his car was assaulted by a man and woman in a parking lot. The victim told Ingleside Officers Jones and Tran that when he pulled into a parking lot behind his apartment building he noticed a man and woman possibly using drugs. When he got out of his car the man approached him and asked if he wanted to buy some narcotics. The victim declined and the suspect then pulled out a switchblade knife and asked for his possessions while simultaneously, with his other hand, punching the victim in the face. In self- defense the victim pushed the suspect in the chest forcing him to fall on the ground. The victim quickly got back into his car and drove away while the suspects escaped shortly before police arrived. Report number: 1500559531:40am 4700 Blk Mission Aggravated AssaultA young man at a nightclub was approached by a woman who asked if his group of friends were members of a gang. He responded “No” and continued talking with his friends. Later that evening he left the club and saw a large group of men outside the club. As he was walking away a man in the group again asked him if he was a member of a gang. He again said “No”. At that time the group surrounded the victim and he was punched then stabbed several times. A bystander attempted to intervene and save the victim but he was also stabbed by the group of men. All the suspects ran away and Ingleside Officers Francheschi, Dominguez and several other units arrived to render first aid and to call for emergency medical assistance. The two victims were taken to San Francisco General and treated for their injuries. The Ingleside Station Investigative Team has been assigned the case.
