1:55 A.M. Unit Blk Arleta Att. Robbery
Officers Ma and Hauscarriague responded to a report of an attempted robbery and found a victim who said two suspects, one male and one female, ran up to her, pushed her to the ground, punched her in the face, while unsuccessfully trying to grab her cell phone from her pocket. The victim fought the suspects who finally gave up and ran away. The victim was treated for her injuries and then released from San Francisco General Hospital. Numerous Ingleside officers canvassed the area but did not find the suspects. Report number 130062627
3:00 A.M. Mission/Geneva Assault with a Knife
Officers McCall and Lozano were dispatched to Mission and Geneva Sts. after a citizen called police saying he was stabbed while walking down the street. The victim said he noticed the suspect walking toward him and didn’t think he was in danger until he pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the arm. The suspect disappeared in an unknown direction and the victim was taken to San Francisco General and treated for his injuries. A search by Ingleside officers for the suspect was unsuccessful. 9:50 A.M Silver/Gambier Robbery on MUNI
Officers Araujo and numerous police units were dispatched to Mission and Gambier streets after a report of robbery. The officers found three victims sitting on the sidewalk, next to the bus. All were pepper sprayed in the face by three juvenile passengers who robbed one of the victims of his cell phone during the attack. Emergency medical crews treated victims at the scene before transporting them to St. Lukes hospital for additional care. A Muni inspector retrieved video from the bus and gave it to Ingleside inspectors. Report number 130063330
11:00 P.M. Naples/Persia Robbery and Assault
Officers Carrasco and Dominguez were sent to Naples and Persia Streets after the report of a robbery. Upon arrival the officers found one victim bleeding from head wounds and another shaking from fright. Both told the officers they were waiting for the bus when two men walked up to them, produced a black handgun, and said “give everything you’ve got”. Fearing for their safety, the victims began emptying their pockets when they noticed water coming out of the gun. Realizing it was a water gun, one victim began struggling with the suspects who proceeded to hit the victim several times with the gun before the suspects ran away to a waiting getaway car. An ambulance transported one victim to the hospital for treatment while Ingleside officers searched unsuccessfully for the suspects. Report number 130065530
