Arrests:

5:20pm       3300 Blk Mission                    Theft
Officer Barajas responded to a call of a theft on the 3300 block of Mission Street. When he arrived, he met with the store’s loss prevention officer, who had a suspect in custody for stealing. The loss prevention officer observed the suspect when she entered the store and made her way through the aisles. The suspect then entered the toiletry aisle and selected ten assorted items from the shelf and placed them inside her shoulder bag. The suspect walked out the store and made no effort to pay for the items. The loss prevention officer followed her outside and identified himself and placed her in custody. Officer Barajas tried to identify the suspect, but she had no pictured identification on her person. Officer Barajas then transported the suspect to Ingleside Station where he positively identified her through a previous arrest mug shot. Officer Barajas also found out that the suspect had been arrested numerous times before for the same thing. The suspect was booked for the theft and the items were returned back to the store. 1:00am       Crescent/Nevada                    Threats
Officers Gabriel and Apodaca went to a call regarding a person with a gun on the 5500 block of Mission Street. They met with the victim who told them that he went to the area of Crescent and Nevada to meet up with a former friend. The victim said that the day before, he noticed that his bicycle frame had been stolen and immediately believed his former friend was responsible for taking it. The victim contacted the former friend and tried to get his property back. Using a ruse, the victim told the former friend he would give him One hundred dollars if he returned his bicycle frame. The former friend accepted the deal and they agreed to meet at the Farmer’s Market located near Crescent and Nevada Avenue at 1:00am in the morning. When they finally met, the victim observed the former friend carrying the bicycle frame in his left hand, while his right hand was inside the front pouch pocket of his hooded sweatshirt. The victim then told the suspect that he didn’t have the money. The suspect became enraged and yelled out to an unknown subject that was sitting in the passenger seat of his car and said the victim didn’t have the money. This unknown passenger then told the suspect to shoot the victim. . The suspect attempted to pull out a handgun from the front pocket of his hoodie, when the gun appeared to have been caught in the clothing. The victim retreated as the suspect was able to get the gun out of his pocket and threatened to shoot the victim. The victim left the scene unharmed and called for the police once he got back to his residence. Report Number 120947368.

3:00pm       Mission/Geneva                      Robbery
Police Service Aid Cato was on station duty at Ingleside Station when a victim walked in wanting to report a robbery. The victim stated he was standing at Geneva and Mission with an acquaintance that he knows from the area. The victim said he only knows this suspect from having seen him around the neighborhood but did not know his name or address. They were both hanging out drinking beers while they stood on the corner. A short time later, three unknown suspects approached the victim and shoved him to the ground and began to punch him repeatedly. The victim’s acquaintance then robbed him of his cell phone and wallet containing $300.00 dollars that he withdrew from an ATM machine earlier in the day. All four suspects then ran in an unknown direction to flee the scene. The victim had a couple scratches as a result of the altercation and refused any medical treatment. Report Number 120948980.
