Arrests:

2:21pm       300 Blk Teddy              Warrant
Officer Hurwitz was patrolling an area where a known suspect frequents.  The officer was aware that he had a warrant for his arrest.  She located the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident.  Report Number 120696333

5:58pm       600 Blk Campbell         Battery
Officers Paras and Shugars responded to an argument where two females had been in a physical altercation.  Both females stated that they were arguing and that they each had engaged in mutual combat.  Both insisted on signing citizen’s arrests against each other and both were cited and released at the scene.  Report Number 120697159

12:00pm     Mission/Silver               Agg. Assault
Officers Morrow and Naval responded to an assault.  They met with the driver of a MUNI bus who told them that he was driving and merged into another lane to pass a double parked UPS truck.  When he came to a red light, a vehicle pulled up alongside of him and began yelling obscenities and throwing things at the bus.  The suspect also threatened the bus driver.  Noone was injured and there were no other suspects or witnesses.  The officers were provided with the plate number of the suspect vehicle and they searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect.  They ordered a copy of MUNI’s surveillance video and took photos of the bus for evidence.  Report Number 120695915

4:24pm       5100 Blk Mission          Battery
Officers Paras and Shugars were dispatched to a battery.  Both parties were on scene and had visible injuries.  An ambulance was summoned to provide aid.  One of the parties stated that he heard the other party yelling and tried to ignore it.  The suspect then approached him and began yelling and threatening him.  The victim backed up and punched the suspect.  The victim insisted on filing a citizen’s arrest and the other party refused.  The second suspect was cited and released at the scene.  Officers requested a copy of the bank’s surveillance tape.  Report Number 120696731

5:29pm       1000 Blk Mansell          Robbery
Officer Benavidez and several other officers responded to McClaren Park regarding a robbery.  The four victims advised that they were sitting in the park when three male suspects approached them and asked them what they were doing.  Two of the suspects pointed guns at the victims and began hitting them on their heads with the guns.  The suspects told them to “give up their valuables.”  The victims emptied their pockets and the suspects fled down a path.  The victims all said they could identify the suspects if they saw them again.  Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for them.  Pictures of the victims’ injuries were taken and booked into evidence.  An ambulance was summoned to the scene and two of the victims were transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  Report Number 120697052

6:30pm       50 Phelan                      Att. Robbery
SFCCPD Officer Boyko was on station duty when a victim came to report a robbery attempt.  The victim said he was walking on the campus when a male approached him and began pulling on his backpack. The victim resisted for several minutes and the male punched him in the face and left the area.  The victim said he would seek his own medical and said he could positively identify the suspect.  Report Number 120695943

10:09pm     4300 Blk Mission          Robbery
Officer Hom and several other Ingleside officers responded to a robbery with a gun.  The victim advised that she was working at the cash register when two males entered the store.  One of the males ordered food and said he was going to pay with a credit card.  He then pointed a gun at her and told her to give him money.  The other suspect walked around and rummaged through her purse.  The suspects grabbed the money the cashier gave them and ran out of the store, boarded a vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.  The victim was able to provide the officers with a description of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.  Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for them.
