5:30am Unit Blk Rosenkranz Burglary
Officer Conceicao responded to a burglary. The victim advised that she arrived home to find her curtains moved and the home ransacked. She was unsure if she had locked the door or if any items were missing. There was no sign of forced entry into the premises. The officer provided her with follow up information and an additional loss form. SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit was contacted and advised they would be responding to process the scene. 1:45pm 3300 Blk Mission Burglary
Officers Duffin and Elton responded to a theft. They spoke with the reportee who advised that he observed a male enter the store, place several items on his person and exit the store without making any effort to pay for the items. The reportee detained the individual, and escorted him back into the store. The reportee signed a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was transported to Ingleside station pending verification of his identification. The individual was unable to be identified and was therefore booked at the county jail for the theft and processing. Report Number 120351076
7:04pm 700 Blk Avalon Cultivating
Officer Hurwitz and several other Ingleside officers executed a search warrant on a home where neighbors complained of possible marijuana cultivation. They detained the male suspect outside of the home as he drove up in his vehicle. The officers were also aware that the suspect had an outstanding warrant. They placed him under arrest. A search of the vehicle he was driving located a handgun in the glove compartment.
Officers proceeded to search the home where they observed the cultivation had been recently removed. They located evidence confirming that large marijuana cultivation had been grown inside. They seized tubing, marijuana plant trimmings, grow lights, scales and large quantities of green leafy vegetable matter (marijuana). The suspect was a Cantonese speaker and he was transported to Ingleside station where he was interviewed by Officers Wong and Du. The suspect was given his Miranda rights and refused to speak with the officers. At the instruction of Sgt. Turner, he was booked at Ingleside station. All evidence was booked and the narcotics were hand delivered to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice. Report Number 120352115
9:35pm 100 Blk Sears Robbery Arrest
Officers Almaguer and Lustenberger were searching for a wanted suspect identified in an armed robbery. They responded to an address where they were informed the suspect resided. They observed a vehicle parked illegally on the sidewalk. A record check revealed the vehicle was registered to the wanted suspect. The officers knocked at the address where the vehicle was registered and informed a tenant that the vehicle was parked illegally. Shortly thereafter, the wanted suspect exited the home to move the vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident. At the instruction of Sgt. Chorley, he was booked at Ingleside station. 00:15am 400 Blk Madrid Robbery
Officers Hermosura and Contreras were sent to investigate a robbery. The victim advised that he was walking home when three males approached him and told him to give them money or they would kill him. The victim gave them his cellular phone and the suspects proceeded to empty out his pockets. One of the suspects then yanked his backpack from him and all suspects ran down the street. The victim said the suspects then boarded a gold vehicle that was waiting for them near Brazil and drove off. The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance. He was not sure if he could identify the suspects. He was provided with follow up information. Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects and the vehicle. They were unable to locate any cameras or surveillance video that might have captured the incident. Report Number 120352579
3:00pm O’Shaughnessy/Portola Battery
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Officer Kerlegan that he was driving near Portola when another vehicle approached him on the side. One of the occupants began yelling at him for an unknown reason and threw a cup of coffee at him. The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance. He provided the officer with a description of the suspect and the license plate of the vehicle. The officer provided him with follow up information. Report Number 120351264
