00:01am 1000 Blk Brussels Recovered Vehicle
Officers Gabriel and Apodaca responded to a call of a recovered vehicle. The victims advised that they reported their vehicle stolen. They were searching the internet and came across an ad showing a vehicle for sale which they believed was theirs. They called the owner of the ad and agreed to meet with him. They then called the police for assistance.
The officers stood by while the victims met with the suspect, who escorted them to the vehicle and opened it with a key. The officers then detained him. A record check of the vehicle identification number returned positive as a stolen vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody and the vehicle was towed to Auto Return because the vehicle identification numbers had been somewhat removed. The victims were provided with information on how to later obtain their vehicle and the suspect was booked at Ingleside station. Report Number 120278458
3:03pm 3300 Blk Mission Shoplifting
Officers Chew and Morrow were sent to a shoplifting call. They met with the reportee who said that he observed a woman enter the store, place several items in her pockets, and exit the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The reportee detained the woman and escorted her back inside the store. He signed a citizen’s arrest and the woman was cited for the theft. The reportee was provided with follow up information. 0:08am 400 Blk Munich Threats
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Zabarte that he received an anonymous phone call that was of a threatening nature. The victim said he did not recognize the caller or the phone number but a male voice said, “We are going to take you down.” The victim wanted the incident documented because the phone call scared him. He was unable to provide any further suspect information. He was provided with follow up information. Report Number 120278925
10:43am 5900 Blk Mission Battery
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Cato that he was talking to his roommate when she suddenly began to punch him repeatedly in the face. The roommate then began screaming, grabbed two butterfly knives and began waving them at him. The victim left the home and came to the station to report the incident. He refused medical assistance. He said the roommate did not hit him with the knives, but that he wanted to press charges for the battery. He had slight redness to his facial area which the PSA took pictures of and booked into evidence. He was provided with follow up information. Report Number 120279826
