7:50am 600 Blk Los Palmos Pellet Gun
Sgt. Miller and several other Ingleside officers responded to a complaint of someone shooting a BB gun in the backyard of a house. They met with the reportee who said her neighbor was the one shooting off the gun. The officers responded to the neighbor’s home and spoke with the tenant who said that no one was shooting off a gun. They explained to the woman that they had received a complaint and she said that they have an ongoing problem with the neighbor.
The officers responded back to the reportee’s address and looked over the fence in her backyard. They did not observe any areas that had been shot at or any evidence any animals had been killed. She also agreed that there is an ongoing problem with the neighbor. They provided her with follow up information.
Later that day, the other tenant called Ingleside station and spoke with Sgt. Miller. He told him he possessed a pellet gun but that he did not shoot it. Sgt. Miller explained that it was illegal to possess the gun and that he should turn it in at Ingleside station. The individual responded to the station and turned the pellet gun over to Officer Giannini which he booked into evidence. Sgt. Miller took photos and booked them into evidence. 10:00am Unit Blk Phelan Theft
SFCCPD Officer Boyko took a counter report regarding a theft. The victim advised that she locked and secured her backpack in a locker and when she returned found the locker open and her backpack missing. She was unable to provide any further information and was provided with follow up information. Report Number 120265041
12:00pm Unit Blk Nantucket Theft
Officer Cassinelli was on duty at the Ingleside Police Station when a female came in to report a theft. The victim said that she hosted a party at her home and when the guests left she noticed her cellular phone was missing. She did not see anyone take the phone and wanted the incident documented so she could cancel the service. She was provided with follow up information. Report Number 120266544
12:15pm 200 Blk Delano Fraud
While on duty at the Ingleside Police Station, PSA Cato was approached by a male who came to the station regarding a fraud. The victim claimed that his cellular phone service had been disconnected without his permission. He contacted his service company and they advised him to file a police report to reinstate the phone. He was provided with follow up information. Report number 120265988
12:45pm Unit Blk Ocean Fraud
Officer Goldsborough responded to investigate a fraud. The reportee advised that a woman came in to cash a check and his computer system alerted that the check was stolen. He attempted to stall the woman but she left the check and exited the store. The reportee said the woman left in a vehicle and that he took pictures of the vehicle which he provided to the officer. He said he could identify the woman if he saw her again. The officer contacted the owner of the checks who said his checks had been stolen a few years ago but that he had not reported the incident. The officer took custody of all evidence and booked it into evidence. He provided the reportee with follow up information. Report number 120265126
5:00pm 400 Blk Moscow Fraud
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Officer Kerlegan that he received a letter from the IRS regarding unclaimed wages. He advised the IRS that he had never worked for the company in question and they requested he file a police report. He was provided with follow up and identity theft information. 5:45pm 400 Blk Holly Park Dog Attack
Officers Yuen and Gonzalez were sent to search for a vicious dog. The reportee advised that he was walking his dog in the park when he heard a woman screaming. He then noticed a pit bull with a cat in its mouth, shaking it. The woman with the dog attempted unsuccessfully to control it. The dog dropped the cat and it collapsed. The reportee called for the police but did not see where the owner or its pit bull went. The officers provided him with follow up information notified Animal Care and Control of the incident. Officer Araujo responded to a burglary. The victim advised that her husband noticed their bicycles missing from the garage that morning. There were no other items missing and neither she nor the officer found any sign of forced entry. She was unable to provide any suspect information and there were no cameras in the garage area. Due to any physical evidence, SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit was not notified. The officer provided the victim with follow up information. Report Number 120264633
