Officers Padilla and Seavey were on patrol when they spotted a vehicle in front of them. The vehicle made a right turn without using its turn signal. The officers followed the vehicle as it began to travel at a high rate of speed. The vehicle then ran through an intersection without making any attempt to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers activated the patrol vehicle’s red lights and sirens in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle made another turn before finally yielding. The officers approached the driver of the vehicle, who seem startled that they were there. The driver had signs of being intoxicated, such as bloodshot, watery eyes, and slurred speech. The driver told the officers that she had to go to the bathroom. The driver seemed confused and did not answer the officer’s questions. The officer’s determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and placed her under arrest. Report 120034385
11:32am Geneva & Cayuga Warrant
Officers Hart and Duffin were on patrol when they observed a vehicle traveling directly in front of them. The officers also saw a pedestrian walking across the street. The vehicle failed to yield to the pedestrian, coming within just a couple of feet of him. The officers conducted a traffic stop and approached the driver. A records check revealed that he was wanted for an outstanding warrant. The driver was arrested. Report 101037970
5:11pm 1000 Blk Geneva Ave Battery
Officers Tam, Burke and Carrasco responded to a report of a fight. The victim and the suspect had been arguing over money. The suspect suddenly grabbed the victim by the hair and hit the victim in the face. The victim demanded the suspect be arrested and signed a citizen’s arrest against her. The suspect denied hitting the victim, saying that the victim actually hit her. However, the suspect did not want to press charges against the victim. The officers arrested the suspect. 6:18pm Unit Blk Maynard St Weapons
Officers Pereira and Archilla were dispatched to a report of a man sleeping on an abandoned couch. The officers responded and located the suspect. The suspect was hardly coherent and was unable to answer the officer’s questions. The suspect stood up and was unable to stay steady on his feet, swaying back and forth. The officers asked the suspect if he had been using drugs or alcohol. The suspect told the officer he had a syringe in his pocket and that he had been thinking about using drugs. As the officers seized the syringe, the suspect began to get agitated. The officers attempted to place the suspect into handcuffs, and he resisted by holding his arms tightly to his body so the officers could not grab his arms. The officers gained control of the suspect and handcuffed him. The officers the discovered the suspect had a knife on him, which they also seized. The suspect was arrested. Report 120036591
6:45pm 3300 Blk Mission St Warrant
Officers Hauscarriague and Almaguer responded to a threats call on a previous run. The officers had conducted a records check of the suspect, which revealed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant on a threats charge. The officers responded to the address where the suspect was thought to have lived, and located the suspect. The officers took the suspect into custody without further incident. Report 120033553

PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding theft. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle, but left it unlocked. When he returned to the vehicle, he realized that his wallet had been stolen from inside. Report 120034727
9:22am Unit Blk Santa Marina Assault
Officer Bernard responded to a report of an assault. The victim appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The victim told the officers that she had been choked and thrown to the ground by the suspect. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. The victim was unable to tell the officers what caused the altercation. The officers summoned an ambulance for the victim, and she was transported to the hospital at her request. Report 120034692
11:50am 100 Blk Paris St Theft
Officer Goldsborough was dispatched to a report of a fraud. The victim received a phone call from the suspect who told her that he was going to give her a cash loan, but that she needed to provide him with a deposit to secure the funds. The victim went to Western Union and sent $185 to the suspect. The victim tried to call the suspect back but discovered the phone number was disconnected. Western Union informed the victim that the money had been received in India . Report 120035311

PSA Flynn took a report regarding vandalism. The victim reported that she had parked and locked her vehicle. Upon her return, she discovered a window on her vehicle had been smashed, but nothing was taken or disturbed from inside. Report 120036507
9:00pm 600 Blk Los Palmos St Theft
Officer Frisk responded to a report of theft. The victim discovered several pieces of jewelry missing from her home. There was no forced entry to the residence, but the victim said that several people had keys to gain entry. Report 120034959
9:46pm San Jose & Geneva Robbery
Officers McMilton and Morse responded to a report of a purse snatch. The victim was standing at the bus stop, with earphones in her ears. The victim noticed two suspects standing next to her. One suspect suddenly punched the victim in the side of her face, causing her to fall to the ground. While the victim was on the ground, the suspect tried to pull her purse away from her. The suspect got the victim’s purse, but she pleaded with the suspect to give her the purse back. The victim told the suspect she would give her all the cash she had if she could keep the purse. The suspect handed the purse back to the victim and told her to take out all of the cash. The victim was unable to locate her wallet in the purse. The suspect punched the victim in the face another time and then both suspects fled. The victim thought her wallet might have fallen out of her purse when she fell to the ground, but she was unable to find it. Officer Burke, who also responded to the scene, was able to locate some of the victim’s cards from her wallet. Report 120037038
10:14pm 400 Blk Silver Ave Battery
Officers Dominguez and Padilla were dispatched to a report of a well being check. Upon arrival, the officers contacted two male subjects, who both appeared to be heavily intoxicated. One of the subjects had a swollen eye and some scratches to his face. The subject told the officers that he and his friend had decided to play fight, and that’s how he got the injuries. The subject’s friend told the officers that they had both been drinking heavily and that his friend fell and sustained the injuries. Both parties refused to cooperate further with the investigation and no arrest was made. Report 120037129
