5:02pm 700 Blk Naples St Warrant
Officers Burke and Hauscarriague responded to a residence attempting to locate a wanted suspect. The officers made contact with the suspect and took him into custody without further incident. Report 110248524
9:46pm Cortland & Hilton St Warrant
Officers Hauscarriague and Burke were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle that had no license plates. The vehicle was parked on the sidewalk directly in front of a sign that read, “No Parking at Any Time”. The officers contacted the driver and advised him of the violation. The driver told the officers that he had been arrested before. A records check with the name given to the officers came back with no prior arrests. Further investigation revealed the driver’s real name. He was on probation and parole with a warrantless search condition, and had an outstanding warrant. The driver was also in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The driver was taken into custody. Report 110509649 ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY!!***

Officer Lundy took a report regarding a robbery. Two victims were sitting and talking when the suspect walked past them. The suspect turned around and pointed a gun at the victims and demanded their things. The victim handed the suspect her wallet and he fled. A witness saw a vehicle fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. Report 110510066
6:00am 100 Blk Topaz Way Theft
Officer Morgante was dispatched to a report of a theft. The victim met the suspect at a bar and brought him back to his residence. The victim and suspect went to sleep. The victim awoke and discovered the suspect gone and several of his personal items had been stolen. Report 110507756
6:15am 800 Blk Peralta Ave Theft
Officer LaRocca responded to report of a theft from a vehicle. The victim told the officer her passenger window on her vehicle had been smashed. Several items were taken. Report 110497828
10:24am 2900 Blk Alemany Blvd Theft
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding a theft from a vehicle. The victim’s vehicle window was smashed and several items were taken. Report 110507609
11:15am 200 Blk Monterey Blvd Burglary
Officer Rand responded to a report of a burglary. The victim saw the suspect in one of the rooms on the premise. The suspect was going through several drawers. The victim confronted the suspect, who claimed she had permission to be in the room. The suspect left and it was discovered that several items had been stolen. Report 110508005
3:45pm 1900 Blk Sunnydale Ave Burglary
Officers Johnson and Obot were on patrol when they were flagged down by a victim. The victim said that upon his arrival home, he heard someone in his residence. When the victim opened the door, the suspect had fled out of the back and was already out of sight. The victim’s residence was ransacked and several items were stolen. Report 110508641
4:00pm 4600 Blk Mission St False Checks
Officer Sugitan took a report regarding check fraud. The victim met the suspect and agreed to sell him his iPod. The suspect wrote the victim a check for a much larger amount than what was owed for the iPod. The suspect asked the victim to deposit the check and withdraw the funds. The victim would then keep the money for the iPod and give the suspect the remaining. The victim deposited two checks in this manner for the suspect. Several weeks later, the bank contacted the victim and told him he was several thousand overdrawn because both checks were fraudulent. Report 110507762
6:20pm Unit Blk Phelan Ave Theft
SFCCPD Officer Smith took a report regarding a theft. The victim used a locker and secured his personal belongings inside with a combination lock. The victim returned to the locker and found that he was missing money from the locker. Report 110504586
9:18am Church & Duncan St Robbery
Officer Lundy responded to a report of a robbery. The victim was walking from home when she noticed a suspect behind her. The victim was talking on her cell phone. As she was walking, the suspect grabbed her by the hair and yanked her head back. The suspect punched her in the head and grabbed her cell phone. The suspect fled. Report 110509467
9:45pm 100 Blk Leland Ave Robbery
Officers Polovina and Pedersen were dispatched to a report of a robbery. The victim was walking when two suspects approached her. Each suspect grabbed one of the victim’s arms and pinned her against a telephone pole. One suspect grabbed the victim’s purse, which she struggled to hold on to. The suspect was able to gain control of her purse and then pushed her to the ground. Both suspects fled. The purse was later recovered, but items were missing from inside. Report 110509570
10:30pm 100 Blk Bonview Dr Threats
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding terrorist threats. The victim said she had posted several fliers regarding a reward for her missing dog. The victim received two different calls from unknown suspects claiming they had her dog but wanted more money than the reward offered. The suspects also threatened the victim. Report 110508312
