Arrests:

12:12 am       4500 blk Mission                 Vandalism to Vehicle/Resisting
Officers Contreras and Hermosura were in the right place at the right time when they heard yelling and saw a group of people running toward them.  The officer discovered that several people were running after one man who had vandalized a vehicle.  The officers took the suspect into custody with the assistance of the victim and others.  A second suspect was taken into custody a while later. One suspect was determined to be the vandal.  He was booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 101198942

04:45 pm       1700 blk Sunnydale           Traffic Violation/Investigation
Officers Dudley and Antonian stopped a vehicle for a registration violation and found that the driver and two passengers were known gang members.  The officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle and a search was conducted.  The officers cited and released the driver.  Report number 101197988

09:36 pm       Unit blk Godeus                 Cocaine/Methamphetamine
Officers Archilla and Lim observed a vehicle operator engage in a narcotics transaction and then drive away.  The officers conducted a traffic stop and smelled the odor of marijuana in the vehicle.  The officers searched the driver and the vehicle and found the driver to be in possession of cocaine, and Ecstacy.  The driver was taken into custody and later booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 101201034

10:04 pm       Appleton/Patton                 Warrant Arrest
Lt. Moran observed an intoxicated man and directed Officers Ferronato and Vizcay to book him for public intoxication.  The officers took the subject into custody and then found that he had a warrant for his arrest from the Department of Corrections.  The man was medically evaluated due to his intoxication level and then booked at County Jail.  Report number 101201071

Officers Jones and Khan responded to a battery call.  The victim told the officers that she was punched one time on the side of the mouth by an African American woman, 18-20 years old, 5-8, 125 lbs, with slicked back hair, wearing a black leather jacket.  The victim did not know what provoked the attack.  Report number 101199025

01:45 am       4300 blk Mission                 Threats
Officers Vizcay and Seavey responded to a threats call and met with the victim.  The victim stated that he had a dispute with his cousin due to an affair.  The victims’ cousin had been threatening him on the telephone and the victim feared for his safety.  Report number 101199053

04:07 am       Unit blk Burlwood               Vandalism to Vehicle
Officers Reyes and Ferronato responded to a vandalism call.  The victim and his wife went to their vehicle and saw two men, known to them, running from the vehicle.  The victim saw that his vehicle had been spray painted all over the vehicle and sugar was put in the gas tank.  Report number 101199279

04:15 am       200 blk Day                         Theft from Locked Vehicle
A newspaper delivery man witnessed two Hispanic males breaking into two vehicles and called for the police.  Officers Seavey and Vizcay responded and searched for the suspects to no avail.  The officers were able to lift a partial fingerprint from one of the vehicles.  Report number 101199285

07:45 am       200 blk Juanita                   Theft from Locked Vehicle
Officers Pai and Araujo responded to an auto boost.  The officers located the victim who stated that she left her vehicle secured and unattended.  The suspect(s) pulled the trunk release and stole a toy oven from the trunk.  Report number 101199417

08:05 am       Unit blk Monterey               Vandalism to Property
Officer Najarro responded to a vandalism call.  The victims told the officer that this type of incident has occurred numerous times in the past and that the suspect is believed to be a disgruntled contractor who lost a court case with the victims back in 2003.  Surveillance footage will be reviewed  to determine if the contractor is indeed the suspect in this latest incident.  Report number 101199655
